BDF, Inc. can supply you with the plumbing, manifolds, and tanks that you need to build your water treament or boiler system from scratch, or we can help you modify or replace an existing system. We follow ASME Section IX of the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code when fabricating water treatment and boiler systems in order to maintain a clean and safe environment and to help prevent corrosion. Systems are constructed from ASME B16.5 flanges and pipe and fittings that meet ANSI, ASTM , and ASME standards, unless otherwise specified. Assemblies and comoponents for water treatment can be supplied with a glass beaded finish, or they can be electropolished if required. Passivation per ASTM-967 is the final process for added corrosion resistance.

If your application is in the pharmaceutical industry, food processing industry andor you require sanitary, food, or other critical grade parts, we can help. We are capable of providing you with manifolds, tanks, and plumbing that meet the industry standards accepted as “Sanitary”. For a fabricated manifold, tank or plumbing to be considered “Sanitary”, all surfaces (internal and external) should be: smooth impervious free of cracks and crevices nonabsorbent non-contaminating nonreactive corrosion resistant durable and maintenance free nontoxic cleanable

We know what it takes to build a manifold for the fire industry. We know the end user requires a functional, rugged product that also looks good. We can build manifolds for nearly all applications with your specified port types, sizes, and locations. Although NH and NPT are the typical requirements, we can provide you with industry standard Akron valve flanges, hose barbs, or anything else you might require. We can build you a manifold from an engineered print or we can help you replace an old, rusted out carbon steel manifold by copying it. Manifolds, tanks and plumbing built for the fire industry are typically glass beaded for an appealing surface finish, and then passivated for corrosion resistance.

Log manifolds come in literally all shapes and sizes. They range from very small to very large and can have any variation of ports, taps, caps, etc. They can be made in high quantities or they can be one-off prototypes. We don't offer a standard log manifold, but we can build any manifold that you specify, or we can help you desgin something that will achieve your goal. Log manifolds can be glass beaded for an appealing finsish and they can be passivated for extra corrosion resistance.
