Rebalance Lifting Beams (Spreader Beams) are for material handling situations where the center of gravity of the lifter changes (variations in the load weight or shape). It is critical to lift a balanced load and Bradley Lifting engineers have developed a variety of beams that may be rebalanced safely and efficiently while in use. One technique is a moveable counterweight to adjust the center of gravity of the beam under a variety of load conditions. The second method is to move the lifting bail to counteract changing loads. Rebalancing can be either manual or motorized, and may be either infinitely adjustable (e.g. lead screw) or limited to pre-defined configurations. All below-the-hook lifting equipment from Bradley Lifting is designed and manufactured in conformance with the ASME B30.20 standard.
