A client from the heavy equipment industry contracted Bral Corporation to cast a series of steel cement truck axle ends. Known for providing top-notch casting operations, we employed our advanced lost wax investment casting process to produce each part. Based off a customer supplied print, each axle end was cast from ASTM compliant steel material to measure 14 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 8 inches high. Each kingpin also weighed 35 pounds.

Based off a customer supplied, 2D CAD drawing, we employed our advanced lost wax investment casting process, casting each part to measure 8 inches in length, 12 inches in width, and 16 inches in height. The hangers also weigh 30 pounds each.

To begin this project, we first combined our advanced sand casting operations with our 4-axis VMC services, manufacturing each component to measure precisely 3 inches in length, 12 inches in width, and 6 inches in height. Each part also weighed 10 pounds.
