Welded Mounting StudsMounting Extrusion IncludedEasy to InstallCRLs 300 Series Heavy Plate Wet Seal Panel System utilizes threaded studs welded to the back of the plate. These studs secure a full length aluminum mounting extrusion to the back of the plate with nuts. The panels come with the mounting extrusion already attached, so all that is necessary is to align the panel on the substrate or hat channel and check to be sure the 12" (12 mm) joint is correct. This system is often used in geographic areas that are subject to severe weather conditions. The strength of the 14" (6.3 mm) plate is less subject to damage and can withstand most conditions.
