Chandlers milling capability includes 3, 4, & 5-axis vertical and horizontal milling machines, some of which are coupled with robotic automation to improve efficiency and reduce cost on components with higher unit volumes. Our largest work envelope is 40 cubed with 5-axis.

Chandler turning capability includes conventional CNC lathes up to 12 in diameter for components or sub-components having lower complexity and multi-axis twin spindle machining centers up to 12 in diameter for single operation of complex turning that include milled features.

Chandler has a formidable Swiss turning capability for the production of standalone components or sub-components for some of our multi-level assemblies. Our diameters range from 7MM to 25MM.

Chandler Industries has a proven track record of applying some of the most advanced manufacturing technology to our machining processes, including extensive use of robotic automation. Our Manufacturing Engineering team has implemented a variety of systems that combine CNC machining with robotic technology to help reduce the cost of repetitive tasks like loadingunloading machines, testing, washing and packaging parts.

Chandler Industries has a variety of forming solutions to meet its customers needs. We utilize small break presses for more intricate forming operations, but also have 12 hydraulic break press capability for heavy duty applications when tonnage and size matters. Most of our presses are equipped with quick change tooling and programmable backstops to minimize setup and cost.

Over the past decade Chandler Industries has developed one of the most unique and extensive machined tube & duct capabilities in the industry. Our thin-wall machining capability allow us to efficiently and effectively produce aluminum tubes and ducts from solid material. This process is 100% repeatable, allows designers infinite structural alternatives and eliminates the need for any Class-A welding, a process that typically has poor yield.

In addition to our expansive precision machining capability, Chandler Industries also offers extensive in-house sheet metal capability. Whether from sheet stock or tubular stock, chandler has the equipment and expertise to meet the most challenging of requirements.

With Chandlers high speed laser capability, we can produce cost effective profiles from a variety of materials that create smooth contoured edges. This process allows infinite design flexibility at little or no tooling cost and requires virtually no deburring or other preparation prior to subsequent operations. Laser cutting can be an effective manufacturing method for prototype to high-volume production.

Chandlers turret press capability is an excellent complement to our laser cutting systems for hole patterns that are more conducive to a punch and die configuration andor sheet metal that requires embossing or other forming while on the turret press that is not achievable with laser. Chandler Industries has an extensive standard and specialty tooling library that is likely to accommodate most customer requirements without the need for additional tooling investment.
