Claretex Hysil is a flexible, alumina-silica fabric designed to provide protection from extreme heat and molten metals. Excellent thermal insulation characteristics over a wide variety of temperature ranges. Meets MIL-C-24576, Ty. I, Cl. 2. When required, material can meet MIL-I-24244 and NRC 1.36. Hysil offers excellent chemical resistance. Fabrics can be specified with aluminum, neoprene, silicone, or other coatings to meet specific performance requirements. Hysil generates essentially no smoke or fumes under the most severe heat conditions. Fabrics can be treated to enhance abrasion resistance and flexibility at elevated temperatures. May be used for personnel and equipment protection, welding cloths and curtains, stress-relief blankets, cable tray wraps, or fire and furnace curtains.

Claremat 1200 is a mechanically bonded, 100-percent glass fiber blanket that offers uniform density and thickness. Techmat 1200 is a 100-percent fiberglass blanket utilizing non-respirable, Type-E fiberglass manufactured using state-of-the-art airlay needling equipment. Superior performance up to 1200°F is obtained by using long, glass textile fibers bonded mechanically without the use of additional binders. SL products are silicone-impregnated, 100% fiberglass fabrics. They are formulated to provide a fabric that offers high-temperature protection while remaining flexible and offering a high degree of abrasion resistance. SL fabrics are specifically designed for use as a jacketing material for high-temperature removable insulation pads and as a welding cloth. SCUFFCOAT was designed to offer increased protection for spray shields used on high-temperature, high-pressure piping systems and mechanical joints. Clar​emont offers a wide variety of fiberglass tapes, woven from high-quality yarns and useful for many industrial, aerospace, and marine applications. The FERRATEX series of tapes are manufactured from 100% fiberglass yarn plied together with stainless steel wire, and then woven into narrow fabrics. Combine Claremont tapes with either fiberglass or ceramic rope (bulbs) to make tadpole tape products. Thermal and acoustical insulation products fabricated from fire-resistant, lightweight polyimide foam ​ Open-cell foam available as thermal and acoustical insulation for fuselage, bulkhead, cockpit, duct treatments, and pipe applications. Steel-Nit fabric, for use as a covering on removable insulation pads, combines all the advantages of conventional coverings, including maximum strength, durability, and high-temperature resistance, with cloth-like flexibility. ​ Constructed entirely from metal wire, Steel-Nit is one of the most durable insulation coverings available. When applied to the hot side of the pad, it provides protection for insulation from direct heat contact. When applied to the outer jacket material it provides protection for insulation from exterior abrasion, resists penetration from sharp objects, and will not break down from constant vibration. ​ Flexibility is achieved through a unique knitted construction process which produces a circular mesh of interlocking loops. Since the loops remain unattached to one another, movement is permitted between them without distortion to the individual wires. The result is a product that is easily fabricated and extremely well-suited for applications on complex and irregular surfaces.
