CMEs portable Flow Calibration Systems (FCS) are available in two series. The FCS-8 Series and the FCS-9000 Series offer outstanding accuracy and ease of use for calibrating other flowmeters of various types. The portability feature of these calibrators allows the user to calibrate in a laboratory or to assure the accuracy of production flowmeters in place.The FCS-8 Series comes with up to 14 Laminar Flow Elements (LFEs) to cover a wide range.
The displayed data includes standardmass flow, volumetric flow, temperature and absolute pressure.

The Model 50A combines a Laminar Flow Element (LFE) and an analog gage in various mounting methods. All Model 50A flowmeters offer 2% Full Scale Accuracy. They are inexpensive, accurate replacements for variable area flowmeters with the following advantages:
Flow element can be remotely mounted from gage
Flow element is not position sensitive
Low Pressure Loss

The Series 40L Digital Flowmeters provide a digital readout for the Model 10, 11, or 12 Laminar Flow Element (LFE). A special circuit linearizes the transducer and flow element so the digital display is more accurate even without compensation or correction.
All Series 40L flowmeters provide analog voltage outputs proportional to flow for computer use. CME also provides a basic language program to correct the reading on the flowmeter due to changes in temperature and pressure. Temperature, absolute pressure and differential pressure transducers housed within the Flow Computer monitor in real time the conditions of the gas in the flow stream as it flows through the Laminar Flow Element.The gas conditions of temperature, absolute and differential pressure are then processed by the Flow Computer to determine both the actual (volumetric) and standardmass flow rate. The flow rate is then displayed on the digital display. RS-232 output is also standard on the unit. Consult the factory for optional analog output.
