We did our own test to see how all the different eggs on the market compared to our eggs. In the upper left corner is the standard grade A large egg, bottom left is the organic egg, bottom right cage free, and top right is the Happy Critters Ranch egg. All eggs were similar in size and, as you see, all were brown with the exception of the grade A egg. The chickens first start out in the brooder. They spend several weeks here until they get their first feathers. Then they can be moved to the movable chicken tractors.

This is Isabelle and Jezebelle They are our Large Black Hog gilts we acquired September, 09. They are lounging around the pool. When they get hot they like to take a dip in the pool. They will be too big to fit in this pool next summer so we will need to make them a bigger one.
