CVSM Portable Dewars

The superconducting magnet dewars product line was designed specifically to facilitate superconducting magnet research. The same advanced engineering apparent in Cryofab's other product lines is applied in the design and construction of the magnet dewars. Our superconducting magnet dewars are fabricated entirely of stainless steel and will accommodate coils of all generally available magnets.Most of Cryofab's superconducting magnet dewars are based on a design-your-own approach. Versatility in fabrication and design enables Cryofab to cut engineering cost regardless of dimensions, capacity and shielding process requested. This translates into savings of time and money for our customers.Another choice is LN2 shielding or vapor shielded. The LN2 is the traditional way to achieve optimum liquid loss results. This is four wall construction with the liquid nitrogen employed as an intermediate heat shield for the helium reservoir. This dewar features all welded construction continuously tested as it is assembled. The model designation for this type of vessel is CSM.The vapor shielded vessel uses a state of the art insulation system incorporated with welded construction to achieve an efficient yet maintenance free dewar. Liquid helium loss rates are slightly higher with this product but the trade off for lower pricing and less maintenance have made it a popular choice. The model designation for this vessel is CVSM.

Liquid Nitrogen Transfer Line

This product is designed for applications that require reduced product evaporation and elimination of frost and condensation during transfers. The combination of vacuum jacket and super insulation make this product the optimal efficient flexible transfer line. Built to customer specifications, the lines can be fabricated to fit a multitude of applications. Inner diameters range from 18" to 6" and lengths up to 100 in one continuous length (consult factory for specific length capabilities). It can be used with ALL liquid cryogens from LNG to liquid helium depending on the end fittings. We received the transfer line. Ive used it, and it is just what I needed. Heck, I should have ordered it years ago. It is so much better than the rubber hose I had been using to do the LN2 transfers. Thanks for making a quality product. I say the same for the 50L dewar we ordered from you last year.

CFHT Portable Dewars

When using cryogenic liquid gases with a low heat of vaporization such as helium, hydrogen or neon, it is necessary to have an efficient transfer apparatus. To meet these operating requirements, transfer lines are carefully fabricated using all welded stainless steel construction and super insulated to provide the optimum in thermal performance. The inner configuration of all assemblies, whether it be rigid tube or flexible is stainless steel of a minimum wall thickness to reduce cool-down losses and heat leak. All assemblies are helium mass spectrometer leak tested and fully evacuated before shipping to insure that the unit is ready for immediate use upon receipt. All Cryofab transfer lines are custom built to meet the customers specific requirements for configuration, diameter and length. Special features can be added to enhance the product. Common applications include MRI and NMR re-filling of superconducting magnets, gas distributor trans-fill stations, instrumentation and experimental transfers.

B3000 Cryogenic Bayonet

The B3000 is a high efficiency cryogenic connection for vacuum insulated piping systems. The design utilizes an extremely close tolerance fit between the male and mating female bayonet establishing a gas pocket between the liquid interface and the flange seal. The very small gas pocket and the thin stainless elements contribute to the high efficiency of this design. The primary seal is a silicone o-ring at the flange location. The close design tolerances eliminate the necessity of a nose seal. For each size bayonet there is a male and a female piece. For each malefemale bayonet there is required a V band and an O-ring. To order the complete set (male, female, V-band and O-Ring, use "SB" after the dash, for example: B3049-SB.

Horizontal Cryogenic Storage Tanks

The horizontal cryogenic storage tanksvessels in the CH Series are intended for low pressure transport and storage of liquid nitrogen, oxygen, and argon. These horizontal cryogenic storage tanks and vessels are designed to be conveniently accessible at lower heights, and are ideal for interaction with LN2 liquefiers. Casters are standard so the tank is easy to move in the lab or plant. A unique support system insures strength and durability without sacrificing thermal efficiency. Loss rates on this model have historically been lower than industrial products normally available. Sizes range from 300 liters to 2000 liters. The configuration of this vessel can vary significantly when options are added.
