Cryomech has developed an Automatic Helium Purifier to sell alongside its liquid nitrogen-cooled purifiers. Unlike the liquid nitrogen-cooled purifiers that require weekly liquid nitrogen refills and monthly trap regeneration, the Automatic Purifier runs indefinitely without any user intervention. Trap cooling is provided by a Cryomech GM Cryocooler and all equipment necessary for regeneration of the trap is included in the purifier. A PLC with 5-inch touch screen automatically determines when the trap needs to be regenerated and efficiently carries out the regeneration process. Total downtime for regeneration is limited to less than eight hours. The Automatic Purifier is fully compatible with all existing Cryomech Liquid Helium Plants.

Cryomech Liquid Nitrogen Plants center their robust and versatile design on the principles of the Gifford-McMahon Cryocooler. The modular system can be purchased with the filter bank nitrogen generator if a purity 98 percent is required. At a small scale, the system is designed to be mobile and fit into most user locations, regardless of space or environmental restrictions. Most maintenance can be performed in the field with minimal technical training. If necessary, Cryomech does offer technical training at our facility in Syracuse, N.Y.

Vibration-sensitive applications can be cryocooled in the 20-100K range by the Cryomech Cold Helium Circulation Systems. The customers object is cooled by mounting it to a cold finger through which circulating, constant-pressure, cold helium flows to absorb the heat load. The cold helium is cryocooled by a Gifford-McMahon Cycle Cryocooler separated from the cold finger by the flexible Cold Helium Transfer Line, eliminating the vibrations . The complete system is closed-cycle and operates with the reliability of the GM Cryocoolers and with a warranty of 10, 000 hours. The CHCS comes in two capacity sizes: 120W and 200W @ 80K, the CHCS120 and CHCS200.

Cryomech cryostats all feature a sleeve and helium reservoir design that provides refrigeration without any direct mechanical contact between the cooling station and the cryorefrigerator. This design feature provides the ultra-low vibration operation required by the most sensitive cryogenic devices.
