The M6511, a PowerPC based VXS (VITA 41)VME IO controller, performs as an intelligent XMCPMC carrier, a system controller, a high-speed data streaming board, a recording engine, and a FPGA processor board. With IO connections on the front panel, dual XMCPMC (PCI Mezzanine) sites and backplane connectors, Curtis-Wright's M6511 uses its IO capabilities to excel in high-speed data buffering and flexible data flow between IO ports. The M6511 is essential to our innovative family of data recording products for embedded real-time data acquisition, processing and recording using high-speed serial communications.

The Vanguard PCI Bus Analyzer offers the complete solution for PCIPCI-X debug, analysis, exercising, protocol detection, and compliance checking. With a 10100 Mbits Ethernet interface, the Vanguard PCI Bus Analyzer takes the power and flexibility in Bus Analyzers from Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions to unprecedented productivity. A PC running Windows and BusView graphical user interface or an Application Programming Interface (API) controls the bus analyzer. The Vanguard PCI Analyzer supports the PCI and PCI-X protocol and signaling. The PCI, PCI-0-SL and CompactPCI form factors all share the SAM (State Analyzer Module) module, interchangeable between the carrier boards.

The Curtiss-Wright BusView Graphical User Interface Software for Vanguard Bus and Protocol Analyzers is easy to use and uses the same software for PCIPCI-X, cPCI, PMC, and VME analysis.BusView is a Windows application included with all Curtiss-Wright (formerly VMETRO) Vanguard Bus Analyzer products. It provides ease of use, control, display and readability. Because of the similarities in the software, all analyzer functionality has a similar look and feel for all protocols being analyzed: PCIPCI-X or VME.

The Vanguard CompactPCI Bus Analyzer offers the PCI PCI-X analysis, exercising, protocol detection, and compliance checking in cPCI systems. With a 10100 Mbits Ethernet interface, this CompactPCI analyzer takes Curtiss-Wright Bus Analyzers' power and flexibility to unprecedented productivity. The Vanguard CompactPCI supports PCI and PCI-X protocol and signaling up to 133MHz in both 32 and 64-bit. The Vanguard cPCI State Analyzer Module (SAM) may be interchanged to the Vanguard PCI carrier boards in order to achieve analysis of two systems with a single analyzer package. The 3U Vanguard CompactPCI behaves either as a peripheral card or system controller. An Application Programming Interface or a PC running Windows and BusView graphical user interface controls the bus analyzer.

The Removable Memory Cartridge (RMC) was specifically designed for use in deployed, rugged applications. Based around industry standard 2.5" SATA Solid State Drives (SSD), the RMC is scalable and adaptable to wide variety of applications that require removable yet rugged storage. The non-proprietary connector is designed for 100, 000 insertion cycles!

The 3U VPX (VITA 46 and 48.2) Flash Storage Module (FSM) provides high-performance, high-capacity, solid-state SATA storage with AES-256 bit encryption using Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) that is FIPS-140-2 validated. The 1" pitch conduction-cooled solid state storage device utilizes high reliability SLC NAND flash designed for the most demanding application. The FSM can be configured as either four separate SATA drives or as a single SATA drive. Industry standard wear-leveling, error correction, and bad block management are built-in.

The Vanguard VME Bus Analyzer, a complete solution for VMEbus analysis, detects exercising and protocol errors and supports new VME standards, including 2eSST. USB, Application Programming Interface, or a PC Ethernet running Windows and BusView graphical user interface controls the bus analyzer. Connecting to Ethernet opens countless opportunities as users can connect to Vanguard analyzers in any area with network connection. Like all Curtiss-Wright analyzers, the Vanguard VME may use target system power or power from an external supply.

The VR-6511S8 VXS (VITA 41) Multi-Channel Data Recorder cost effectively stores data to SATA solid state and rotating disk drives. Many signal intelligence, radar, sonar or image processing applications require a quick and cost effective way to transfer high-speed digitized data between the sensor and the processors. Curtiss-Wright designed and delivered the Vortex VR-6511S8 Multi-Channel Data Recorder to address the space, weight and power requirements of these embedded subsystems. The VXS SATA Disk Carriers (VXS-4SSD) provide storage that utilizes the VXS backplane. Each recorder engine can support up to eight SATA disks, connecting one disk per P0 high-speed serial link. Each VXS-4SSD Carrier is fitted with up to four disks.

The CompactPCI adapter board attaches to a 3U CompactPCI device and allows it to be installed in a 6U slot. By installing this adapter on a Vanguard CompactPCI Bus Analyzer, designers can install the analyzer in a 6U cPCI system and debug the PCIPCI-X bus.

The Vanguard PCI-0-SL PCI-X Bus Analyzer allows testing in single-slot systems at up to 133 MHz, whilw isolating the PCIPCI-X bus and uses a bridge to locate the Device Under Test from the backplane PCIPCI-X bus. Devices can then be tested at full speed without introducing non-compliant electrical conditions to the system in use. Users should test systems with multiple devices using the companion product Vanguard PCI Bus Analyzer. The unit is controlled via USB, an Application Programming Interface (API), or Ethernet from a PC running Windows and BusView graphical user interface. With Ethernet connection, users can connect to the Vanguard analyzers at any network area location, adding many possibilities to the bus analyzer tool.
