Our product range comtains a wide range of Stretch Foam (Polyethylene), Bubble Pouches (Standard and Metalized), Flush-cut Bubble Pouches, Lip and Tape Bubble Pouches and Foam Pouches (Standardized and Metalized)
PE foam products are durable, tear-resistant closed-cell materials that are ideal for shipping and storing fragile items. PE foam is an excellent insulating and vibration dampening material, offering shipped and stored items superior protection.Cross-linked PE foam (XLPE), which is characterized by a smaller cell size, is also available. Cross-linked PE foam is smoother than standard PE foam to prevent the scratching of Class A surfaces.Items typically shipped and stored with PE foams products include, but are not limited to: glass products, automotive parts, and home appliances. The Cutting Edge engineering team will work with customers to design a PE shipping and storage solution. All orders are custom die cut to specifications. Call (419) 720-3343 to learn more.
EPS foam is a cost-effective alternative to PE foam products. EPS is a lighter-weight foam material used as dunnage and cushioning in stored and shipped containers. Like PE foam, EPS foam possesses vibrational dampening and insulating characteristics, though to a slightly lesser degree.Items typically shipped and stored with EPS foams products include, but are not limited to: glass products, automotive parts, and home appliances.EPS foam can also be molded into custom insulated coolers that are ideal for shipping temperature-sensitive materials, such as perishable foods and pharmaceutical products.EPS foam products can be wire to the customer’s specifications for custom shipping or storage solutions meet to any needs. PU foam is low-density, flexible material used in shipping and storage. Like both PE and EPS foams, PU foam is used as dunnage and cushioning, but for the most delicate of items.PU foam is typically used in upholstery, such as is bedding and automotive seating, and to line the inner-walls of refrigerators. PU foam can also be custom die cut to line casings for fragile items.Convoluted PU foam, more commonly referred to as “egg crate foam, ” is also available, offering enhanced contents stabilization and cushioning.Basic and convoluted PE foam is die cut and made to order to meet each customer’s unique shipping and storage needs. PP form is structurally similar to basic PE foam, but is used to store and ship items that must remain stationary. This dunnage and cushioning foam possesses a higher friction coefficient than basic PE foam, which eliminates content sliding and scratching. PP foam also offers added temperature resistance, maintaining performance in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit higher than at which PE foam fails.
Micrfoam is a polypropylene-based foam protective product. This foam is characterized by a high volume of closed cells per cubic inch. Microfoam is a thin protective material that is ideal for guarding scratch prone items and FDA-approved for shipping perishable goods.
Stretch foam is a polyethylene-based foam product used for shipping and storage. The foam is a closed-cell, tear-resistant material that offers multidirectional stretch for packaging protection. This soft foam product is suitable for wrapping, interleaving, and surface protection. Stretch foam is characterized by a high coefficient of friction that allows the foam to cling to wrapped items to prevent sliding and abrasion. Call (419) 720-3343 to learn more.
Bubble Pouches offer lightweight protection for the shipping of fragile items. These clear pouches allow the easy identification of contents and a smooth inner surface allows for easy item placement and removal.Metalized bubble pouches are similar to standard bubble pouches, but offer the added protection of a metalized outer foil layer. Metalized bubble pouches are a cost-effective shipping solution for temperature-sensitive items.Learn more about custom and standard metalized bubble pouch solutions for shipping and storage by calling (419) 720-3343.
Flush-cut Bubble Pouches are bubble pouches with a no-lip opening. These offer great protection, with a smooth inside surface and bubbled outside surface. Great for use with odd-shaped items. Learn more about die cut flush-cut bubble pouches for shipping and storage by calling (419) 720-3343.
Lip and Tape Bubble Pouches feature a lip for securing the bubble pouch’s contents. The lips are standard-made with an adhesive tape strip for closing the pouch. Learn more about custom lip and tape bubble pouches for shipping and storage by calling (419) 720-3343.
Foam pouches are an alternative to bubble pouches. These polyethylene foam pouches are lightweight, non-abrasive, and durable shipping protection for small items and components. This item is available in polyethylene, polyurethane, and polypropylene.
