This trinocular 3.5X-90X zoom stereo microscopy system is mounted on a versatile ball-bearing boom stand. It comes with a 5MP digital camera and a 150W fiber optical ring illuminator. The trinocular head includes 30mm super widefield, high-eyepoint WF10X20 eyepieces, giving users sharp, crystal clear images. The double-arm boom stand is equipped with a versatile ball-bearing design, which allows users to make horizontal adjustments at the touch of a finger. The digital camera captures still images and video, and allows you to view a live stream on your PC. With software available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, it's a multi-platform imaging solution. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. Independent preview and capture resolutions allow you to view high-speed video while capturing high-definition images. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version with limited processing features. The fiber optical halogen illuminator provides even, bright, full-spectrum light illumination. The top window design of the illuminator makes it convenient to change bulbs, and the auto-shut-off mechanism cuts off electricity automatically when the window is open. Datum Tech has both simple and complex CNC Vertical milling and 5 Axis milling capabilities. The orientation of the spindle is the most fundamental characteristic of a machining center. Vertical machines are generally favored for the higher precision parts we typically do. Higher speed throughput, more precise cutting angles and the ability to program automatic tool changes and optimal tool paths enable us to create even the most challenging geometries. PRECISION 7-AXIS SWISS TURN MACHINING So named because it was originally developed for the Swiss watch-making industry, Swiss-type turning is designed to turn small, complex parts with high precision. Bar stock is fed from a feeder, and we typically handle up to an inch or more of diameter. Simultaneous processing with two or three tools (milling and drilling) and 7-axes of control are possible. In the Z axis, the tool is stationary and the stock advances from the main spindle through a guide bushing to expose only the length to be machined. The bushing and, when necessary, a subspindle, clamp the stock properly to minimize deflection. Meanwhile, the machine's Y axis does the milling. With proper setup, materials and tooling, Datum uses this capability to hold very tight tolerances on very small parts.
