Scroll down the lower left panel on this page to the usb instructions and download the application and driver. Once you install them you'll be ready to transfer your steadyweb5 job setup data. The steadyweb 5 tension controller combines a full-featured, automatic, closed-loop tension control unit with the most intuitive user interface ever developed for the web process industries.

The steadyweb 5 maintains a pre-selected tension set point on a web machine or press by measuring web tension from a tension transducer (or transducer pair), then sending a compensating signal to a tensioning device such as a pneumatic brake, clutch or a dc drive. The digital closed-loop pid control algorithm allows manufacturers to improve process consistency and productivity.
