Lift table covers are designed to protect lift mechanisms and personnel from dust, dirt, foreign objects and pinch points. Lift covers are constructed of rugged, durable materials selected for specific applications based on the environment in which the lift table will operate. Custom made lift covers enhance lift appearance and provide four-sided protection that will accommodate normal raise, lower and tilt movements. Since the early 70's, Dynatect has supplied OEM and replacement units to numerous transit authorities and bus manufactures throughout North America. Dynatect and ATG Autotechnik GmbH provide complete articulation solutions beyond the main bellows, including articulation joint and center hoop components. Bellows for transportation vehicles are manufactured from a variety of materials including pure elastomers, elastomer coated fabrics , urethane coated fabrics, and PVC coated fabrics. The proper material is selected on the basis of environmental conditions, flame retardant requirements and smoke emission regulations.

Bellows are flexible protective covers also referred to as "accordion bellows" used as way protectors, cylinder rod boots, scissors lift covers, seals, or air ducts.
