EcoFoil pre-cut rolls of double bubble foilfoil insulation is constructed of a double layer of polyethylene bubble insulation bonded to two radiant barrier metalized sheets. This 14" - 516" thick insulation provides superior protection against radiant heat transfer and also provides an effective vapor barrier preventing condensation which can cause mold. Unlike traditional insulation this product is not rated by R-value. R-values are based on thermal resistance (how long heat takes to pass through the product); the thicker it is the higher the R-value. Bubble insulation is rated by its high reflectivity, 96%, and a low emissivity, 4%. Only 4% of radiant heat passes through the insulation. Simply put we are not trying to slow the way heat passes through the insulation but trying to eliminate heat from passing through it.

Perforated radiant barrier reflects heat back at the source instead of absorbing it like traditional fiberglass insulation. As the name states, perforated radiant barrier has tiny perforations that provide breath-ability and moisture vapor to escape. The perforations in perforated radiant barrier prevent condensation buildup making perforated radiant barrier foil insulation a great choice for attic insulation.

Foil HVAC tape or metal duct tape is a metalized foil tape specifically designed for HVAC duct work insulation applications. Considered a premium high tack tape, this metal ductwork tape is made with an acrylic adhesive and a UV metalized polypropylene backing which makes the HVAC duct tape resistant to both extreme cold and hot temperatures. Use this HVAC insulation tape to create a constant barrier in your foil insulation applications. An added benefit of this HVAC insulation tape is that it resistant to moisture, flame spread, and smoke generation. The temperature resistant material makes it ideal for heat repelling applications necessary for duct wrap insulation. To apply the HVAC tape, clean the surface you are applying the ductwork tape to with a damp cloth. Making sure the surface is free of dust, dirt, and oil ensure that the HVAC duct tape will adhere to the surface for the long term. Next, remove the liner of the HVAC tape 1-2 feet at a time and press firmly against the insulation. Be careful not to stretch this HVAC insulation tape too tightly. Use a card or wiping tool and work from the inside out, firmly pressing the HVAC duct tape to the surface much like you would do when applying wall paper. This approach prevents too much pressure being applied to one area. Then cut the ductwork tape with a knife or scissors.

Our 3" wide white insulation tape covers more area and is nice for big jobs of white bubble insulation. White adhesive tape is essential when installing the foilwhite bubble insulation and under concrete insulation. The white tape helps create a clean and visually appealing surface. It acts as seam tape to connect seams and, if they should occur, repair rips and tears to your insulation. Using this white insulation tape means you will create a solid barrier against vapors and condensation. This white poly tape is 3" wide making it one of the wider choices for insulation seam tape. Similar to white duct tape, white insulation tape can also be used for a variety of other applications because it's strength and durability ensure that it holds up to the hot and cold.

Aluminum foil SCIF tape is designed to be used with the EcoFoil Ultra NT SCIF radiant barrier. Use this aluminum foil tape to seal the seams and the joints to create a solid radiant barrier surface. This tape is a conductive surface with a non-conductive adhesive, creates a complete seal as well as providing a continuous vapor barrier.

The second style, known as "Foil-Single Bubble-White Poly, " consists of a single layer of polyethylene bubbles that are sandwiched between a layer of 99% pure aluminum radiant barrier foil and a smooth white polyethylene sheet. The white poly surface is water resistant and is very easy to keep clean. The smooth white side also provides a nice finished appearance to the interior of your building.
