SKR NITROGEN PURGING REGULATORS When brazing copper, it is imperative to purge with nitrogen in order to minimize or eliminate oxidation that results from heating the copper pipe. Without purging, oxidation will occur and the oxidized flakes that result can and will break off and flow through the system, damaging bearings and fouling system filters. All that is needed is a low pressure, low volume flow of nitrogen. The use of dry nitrogen gas also minimizes the need to evacuate moisture from the system.

HYBRIO - HYBRID LASER WELDING Lighting the way ESABs Hybrio™ hybrid laser welding technology combines the deep weld penetration and low heat input associated with laser welding with the excellent weld properties and superior gap tolerance of gas metal arc welding (GMAW). A radically new welding alternative, it produces extremely narrow and deep welds at very high travel speeds. In a single pass, the Hybrio™ process can often achieve what might require multiple weld passes using a conventional fusion welding process.
