The FlowTech SS150 single cartridge severe service design filter housing is the ideal housing for those applications where rough handling or severe environmental conditions warrant a durable, heavy duty design. The closure of the filter vessel is accomplished by the use of 4 heavy-duty swing bolts and the seal is provided by a large cross-section O-ring mating with a heavy duty machined seal ring.The SS150 Severe Service filter housing is widely used in the pharmaceutical, process chemical and foodbeverage industries and is well suited for liquid and gas application where low pressure drop, minimum product hold-up and unexcelled cleanability are important considerations. The SS150 filter housing can be provided with corrosion allowances where required. Standard material is 316L stainless with many other alloys available.

The FlowTech IL150 single cartridge in-line housings are designed for applications requiring an economical, high quality, easy to clean in-line design with minimal product hold up. The FlowTech IL 150 filter housings are used widely in the pharmaceutical, process chemical and foodbeverage industries. The housings feature a sanitary clamp closure with an o-ring seal. The overall compact design results in minimum wetted surfaces for easy cleaning. All 316L stainless steel is standard with many other alloys available.

Glas-Tech-I fibers have a net positive electro kinetic charge aiding the filtration process. Charged contaminants, such as proteins and colloids, are retained by the media. Elements are virtually free of media migration as a result of their unique construction. The small fiber diameter and electrokinetic charge offer particle retention well into the sub-micronic range. Glas-Tech-I elements will not unload as the differential pressure rises, a significant advantage over competitive cartridges. Available in 10, 20, 30, and 40 nominal lengths fits most commercially available housings. Pleated microglass media with 316 stainless steel end caps and center core tube.
