HInz is well known for providing both reliable and cost-effective service in the area of machining and component assembly, Hinz Company was recently retained by the largest pump supplier in the world, to construct a custom plug assembly to be used within a hydraulic application. Holding a (±) .001 of an inch precision tolerance, we employed our advanced CNC turning technology and assembly services to successfully manufacture this unit based on customer supplied drawings. Utilizing an advanced CNC lathe equipped with live tooling and sub spindle capabilities, Hinz manufactured the steel plug assembly in one step and in under three minutes of un-manned time. Once machining was complete, we provided the plug with a corrosion resistant zinc coating. After a series of dimensional checks to ensure that the part met exact client specifications, three o-rings were carefully assmbled onto the part and then packaged for shipment to our customers location in North Carolina. Specializing in custom machining and component fabrication, we were able to successfully manufacture a plug assembly for the hydraulic industry that met our client's high expectations for quality.
Known for providing cost-effective machining and component assembly solutions, Hinz Company was contracted by a client from the motorcycle industry to custom build a steel push rod that would be used in a motorcycle brake. Originally, this part was constructed through a complex, four piece assembly operation. Hinz Company was able to reduce this process, cutting the part down to just one piece, saving the client's both time and money. Using our advanced CNC Multi-Axis turning technology, the steel push rod was manufactured complete in one operation on a machine with live tooling and sub spindle capabilities. Based off a customer supplied drawing and input from skilled Hinz technicians, the part was desgined and produced to meet precise client specifications demanding tolerances of ±.001". After machining, a corrosion resistant zinc plating, providing a bright brilliant shine to the alrady highly finished part. We then shipped weekly kan-bans directly to the cusomers location in Wisconsin. With the ability to assemble this unit complete in one manufacturing step, we were able to reduce production time and cost while still effectively meeting our client's high expectations for quality.

Originally, this part was being machined by an alternative manufacturer through a complex, five-step machining process. Our expert staff of engineers at Hinz Company was able to cut down this process, manufacturing this part complete in one step, providing top-notch product at reduced production time and cost. Based off a customer supplied print, we employed our eight-axis, CNC Swiss machining center to manufacture the part, upholding a tight concentricity tolerance between nine internal holes and the outside diameters of just .003 of an inch . Two opposing angle holes, each measuring .0625 inches in diameter are also drillied into the part - all in one operation! Lastly, the valverequires an 8 micro finish and then a custom pin to be pressed into one of the holes. Combining years of expertise with our advanced machining equipment, Hinz Company was able to provide this client with reliable, streamlined manufacturing services, producing their part in one complete step while still maintaining high-quality standards and precise customer specifications. Contracted by an aerospace industry leader, Hinz Company constructed a multi-axis turned hold-down knob used for commerical airline applications. Produced from stainless steel material, this part was manufactured using advanced CNC multi-axis turning equipment, capable of holding (±) .001 of an inch precision tolerance. Based off a customer supplied print, Hinz manufactured the demanding features of the hold-down knob including kidney shaped pockets and offset drilled and tapped holes. The hold-down knob has a decorative and functional knurl located on the outside diameter and an ultra smooth finish is required over the nickel plated surface. Performing a series of dimensional checks, we ensured that the part met exact customer and FAA specifications.
