All international LCL - Less Container Load will automatically place at the CFS also know as Container Freight Station and for FCL - Full Container Load will be placed automatically at port/rail terminal, now the only truck that allowed to pick up the cargo are the ones that have access permits, and ISF Entry will arrange domestic trucking for our selected customers, and also your cargo will be released if the port or CFS warehouse will be receiving a freight release first and etc.

• Type 1/ Standard: This ISF type transaction covers the vast majority of commercial shipments. ( Importers ) ($95 / $150 Late).


• Type 2/ For shipments that have not yet been sold to a buyer in the U.S. Typically used for commodities shipments (e.g., coffee beans, cocoa, etc.). / handling shipments sold on the water: The ISF will need to be updated if the shipment is sold in transit. At a minimum, the ISF Importer must notify CBP that the goods have been sold, and the party must update the Buyer (Owner) field and any other field of which they are aware. ($176 / $373 Late).

The importer's customs bond can be purchased through a licensed customs broker like ISF Entry from a guaranteed organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. To set up your Customs bond with your customs broker representative, you should finish a Power of Attorney (POA) and bond application

ISF Import Agent is a US Licensed Customs broker that will submit and prepare documentation to inform or obtain/get clearance from government offices such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the Fish and Wildlife Service, just like what import agent does. They can arrange the domestic freight truck/transshipment (i.e., local freight, domestic freight truck) of stock through trucking companies. Most licensed customs brokers specializing in certain merchandise like attire, perishables, or clearing the crew and manifest of huge cargo vessels. Most are found at major airports or terminals and harbors with international traffic. In any case, with the approach of the Automated Broker Interface and rules permitting US customs broker to be allowed nationally (as opposed to specific ports), a licensed customs broker / Import agent is no longer needs to be located near the port.
