The basic thermal spray process handling system configuration exists typically of an industrial robot for the manipulation of the gun and a turntable as a work piece handling. The KT90 tilting turntable is especially designed to work in conjunction with the robot. All functions of the turntable are coordinated and controlled by the robot. The turntable has the capability of indexingpositioning, and tilting, controlled as external robot axes (7th and 8th axis). The tilting range is from horizontal to 90vertical position. This configuration is selected and required for optimal coating of complex parts, such as blades, vanes or liners. In this way, all faces and angles of the parts can be achieved in combination with manipulating the spray gun to ensure optimal coating conditions, such as spray angles and distance, speeds and coating coverage.

AMT type powder feed systems are either volumetric or graphimetric disc feeders based on the same technologies as the well-known Twin feeders. The disc feeder guarantees a stable and reliable feed rate over the whole spray process. The feeder is made for all type of plasma spray powders in the range of 5 to 200 microns. AMT feeders can be run with either Plasma, or HVOF or with the ThermoSpray processes. AMT powder feed systems are available as fully integrated systems (e.g. for the AMT MP 200 Thermal Spray Control System) or as standalone version powder feed systems (e.g. for AMT series 80 Thermal Spray Controllers). The majority of the spare and wear parts of the AMT powder feeders are fully compatible with Twin type feeder system parts of other manufacturers. AMT powder feeders are designed to meet all required safety and gas control standards. All powder feed systems are designed according to the latest CE regulations.

These brakes are designed for fast silent stop if the current fails. These unique brakes offer several mounting options, less noise, are asbestos-free with fast response time, long life and high torque vs. size and are available from 1.38"-to-3.12" diameter. Various other options are available including different voltages. The brakes typically are used in machine tools, printers, copiers and film drives. The most inherently-reliable and long-lived variable torque control clutch or brake, designed for constant tension andor constant slip-type applications, is a hysteresis type unit. Hysteresis clutches and brakes exhibit a torque rise directly proportional to the applied current. The output torque of these units is independent of speed. Because the coupling action is purely magnetic there is no physical contact between the coupling members; therefore the unit exhibits no wear or fluctuation of torque with respect to life.
