John King Climax premium cast chains are most commonly used in material handling, sewage treatment, water filtration, fertilizer handling, sugar processing, waste wood conveying, and other applications. They are manufactured to withstand the abuse of industrial applications where cost-effective solutions are of great importance. These chains are assembled with heat-treated pins and slightly larger tolerances. This allows the material to easily work out of the connection points. Furthermore, they are designed and fully tested for dimensional consistency, interchangeability, and correct sprocket engagement. Most standard sizes are available from stock, with MTO and custom designed castings also available.

John King USA has successfully supplied the bakery industry with conveyor chains, sprockets and components over many years. Our experience covers installations with High Output Bread and Roll Automated production lines using Lanham, Bake-Tech and Stewart oven and Proofer systems. In addition to high speed baking lines, John King USA manufactures conventional engineered steel conveyor chains typically used in pantin bread tunnel ovens. These chains have rigidly controlled pitch to optimize sprocket gearing, low friction and reduction in both wear and noise levels.

John King USA High Temperature Alloy drag chains are suitable for use in extreme temperature applications such as Lime Kiln Conveyors, Ash Handling Conveyors, Calcining Systems & Cement Clinker Conveyors. Our chains are supplied with super-hard locked pins, to prevent rotation and unnecessary pin wear, through hardened Cast Alloy or Manganese Alloy Links and optional added Hard Welds to improve overall abrasion life. Sprockets and other accessories are also available from our East Peoria Plant. John King USA can also supply stainless steel heat recovery chains on a fabricated basis.

John King Climax engineering class drive chain is used for power transmission and speed reduction in many heavy duty applications. Our drive chains are designed to exceed the listed ultimate strength ratings, ensuring high fatigue strength and the ability to withstand extreme shock loads. Each component is manufactured entirely from alloy steel, carefully machined with high press fit tolerances. Components are heat-treated with the latest techniques to ensure the longest service life for both the chain and sprockets. We keep most common sizes on-hand, guaranteeing prompt order fulfillment.

John King round link steel chains have become a proven standard in aggressive mining, ash handling, cement production, and other heavy-duty applications due to their high strength and flexibility in operation. They are built to meet or exceed the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) for dimensional consistency, interchangeability, and correct sprocket engagement, most commonly with the DIN 22252 & DIN 764 specifications. They are offered in both the standard hardness state (through-hardened) or with upgraded surface hardness (case-hardened) to best combat abrasive wear. We also offer a range of quality accessories such as forged master links, attachment shackles, mounting hardware, and complete sprocket solutions. Most common sizes are available from inventory and can be cut to length quickly and accurately to meet on-demand ordering and emergency repair needs.
