The second stage features a packed-bed of porous ceramic media, designed to capture the smaller grease particles associated with commercial cooking. The combined result is a front-end filtration solution delivering unparalleled grease removal efficiency for restaurant hood systems. The Captrate® Combo Filter is available for new kitchen hoods and can also be retrofitted into most existing ventilation systems. It will substantially reduce cleaning, maintenance cycles and attendant expenses, providing greater overall cost saving than other grease capture devices or systems on the market today.

The Captrate® Solo Filters reduce grease emissions, improve fire safety improve system maintenance, and are innovatively designed, with standard sizes. Product Overview The Captrate® Solo Filter is a single-stage filter featuring a unique S-Baffle design in conjunction with a slotted rear baffle design, to deliver exceptional filtration efficiency of single-stage devices. The Captrate® Solo Filters are available in standard industry sizes, and are designed to capture and remove a high percentage of the total grease particle emissions produced during commercial kitchen cooking operations. Single unit assembly design does not require any components to be separated for cleaning and maintenance. Simply wash using a dishwasher or soak using a commercial degreaser.

The FloAire Pollution Control Unit, FAPCU Series, is designed specifically for the removal of smoke and grease particles from the air stream of commercial kitchen exhaust systems and to eliminate or reduce odor to an acceptable level if equipped with the optional odor control section. The FAPCU is designed for use with a FloAire high efficiency self-cleaning or baffle ventilator but may be used with other high efficiency exhaust hoods. The typical FAPCU includes a washable steel pre-filter and disposable, high efficiency, (MERV 15) media filter. A HEPA final filter module is available for smoke control, and odor control is handled via an optional 5050 blend carbonpermanganate module. Sizes range in capacity up to 20, 000 CFM. Units are designed for natural and propane gas applications, and for indoor or outdoor installation. Direct Gas-Fired Heater, ETL Listed, for use in tempering make-up air. Packages are certified to the ANSI Z83.4a-2001CSA 3.7a-2001 combined safety standard and are available in sizes up to 2, 500, 000 BTUH and 21, 000 CFM. Units are designed for natural or propane applications and are rated for indooroutdoor installations in commercial occupancies. A unique feature is the self-adjusting burner profile plates allowing 2-speed and variable-air-volume applications. The plates ensure proper air velocity and pressure drop across the burner for clean combustion. Spring-loaded profile plates react to the momentum of the fresh air stream, therefore, no motors or actuators are needed to drive them, nor do they need to be manually set to a specific position. Standard features include intermittent spark ignition system with timed safety lockout, and redundant gas valves. Units consist of a galvanized enclosure with an elevated gas burner which burns directly in the air stream. The burner consists of non-clogging, stainless steel combustion baffles attached to a aluminum gas supply section. The burner is capable of nearly 100% thermal efficiency with a maximum turndown ratio of 30 to 1. The products of combustion mix with the make-up air which is introduced into the heater intake directly from outside the building. The burner module has a standard horizontal inlet and discharge duct connection and is located upstream of the blower module. The blower module has a standard horizontal inlet designed to accommodate an outside air inlet hood with standard 2" filters and screen. To satisfy a variety of installation requirements, packages are available in a number of configurations which include additions of either a v-bank or an evaporative cooler intake module. All modules bolt together to form a rigid common base structure that mounts onto a single curb structure.
