Blast Booth Lift

LPI Model BL Pneumatic Hydraulic 3-Axis Blast Lift is capable of 3-Axis travel. Designed to operate in the harsh environment posed by media blast booths this 3-axis unit can be used for steel grit, sand and other media blast systems. The entire lift travels on two steel V-wheels which ride on a lower rail mounted to the floor, and is guided by a wall mounted upper rail (5x2 tube). The upper rail also supports the festooning system. Both the upper and lower rails are designed to shed blast media. X-axis travel (horizontal movement) allows the lift to travel along the length of the booth at a rate of up to 40 FPM. The Z-axis travel (vertical movement) has the ability to elevate the operator platform at a rate of 15 FPM; from a lowered platform height of 20 to a maximum raised height of 15 (both measured from the top of the lower rail to the platform floor). This allows for an operator working height of up to 21 depending on lift model. The Y-axis travel (in and out of the platform) provides movement of the operator platform at a rate of 15 FPM; from a retracted depth of 4 to a fully extended position of 9 (both measured from the booth wall to the front of the platform). The three axes of travel can be operated either independently or at the same time. The lift movement is controlled by the operator from a console located in the front of the platform. This console location allows the operator to face forward and observe the area as they move. Along with the motion controls for the lift, the console includes an emergency stop button (E-stop), emergency descent (E-down) and an unoiled air supply connection for tools or equipment.Properly maintained, LPIs personnel lifts and work platforms will provide many years of trouble free performance; increasing both the safety and performance of your workers.

Man Lift For Aircraft Painting

3-Axis man lifts system enhances work safety and ergonomics while increasing productivity. Designed to carry multiple workers, the aluminum platform design incorporates a tip-down front rail that allows workers, while attached to a safety harness, to access irregular shaped products for sanding, wash and painting processes. The platform is equipped with multiple connection points for process air to run paint systems, breathing air or auxiliary tools and a fluid connection for wash down equipment. The platform offers some unique features starting with the interlocking safety harness system where the operator must have their harness attached to the D-ring, in the platform, in order for the lift to operate. There are also contact bumpers that shut down lift operation if contact is made with the product, to reduce the possibility of damage to the product. Other features include a pendant control box which can be moved about the platform allowing the operator easy control access while working, and movable side guard rails on the tip-down platform section. This type of lift system can travel sideways along a fixed rail system, extend in and out 14 and elevate up to 28 above the floor, allowing the operator to position themselves along the entire product and extend out to reach the ends. Ideal for Industrial processes in sanding, washing, prepping and painting of products ranging from aircraft to steel tanks or any large product that requires workers to access multiple areas during their work cycle. Lift systems can be designed to fit specific product access challenges or to incorporate process equipment. Contact LPI to see how we can help you increase safety and productivity.

Single Axis Powder Booth Mast Lift

The lift travels up and down so powder is contained inside the booth by use of a flexible gasket. The gasket allows the arm and platform to move up and down but closes off the movement preventing the introduction of contaimination into the booth or escape of the powder paint from the booth.A remote airhydraulic power unit provides power for the lift movement with operator controls and an Emergency Stop located on the platform.

Axis Mast Lift

4 Axis Lift Systems are based on the design of the 3-Axis lift (see 3-Axis lift description below) with the added ability to lower the operator platform while the scissors remains elevated. This feature allows the operator to extend out over the side of a product and then lower the platform to reach the inside. An example of this is the side wall of a dump truck body. When the operator elevates the platform and then extends out over the side wall of the dump body, they cannot reach the inside of the dump body. The 4th axis allows them to lower the platform, up to 6', to reach the inside area of the dump body.3-Axis Pneumatic Personnel Lifts are capable of 3-axis travel. The lift travels on a guide rail system with the lower rail (2 x 2 tube) anchored to the floor and the upper rail (W6 x 15 beam) mounted to the wall of the booth. The X-axis travel (left and right movement of the lift) allows the lift to travel back and forth along the length of the booth on a rail system at a speed up to 40 feet per minute. The Z-axis travel (up and down movement of the platform) provides the ability to elevate the operator platform, at a rate of 15 feet per minute, from a lowered position of 25 above the top of the lower rail to a maximum raised height of up to 22 allowing for an operator working height of up to 28 (depending on lift model). The Y-axis travel (in and out motion of the operator platform) provides the ability to move the operator platform, at a rate of 15 feet per minute, from a retracted position of 3 (as measured from the booth wall to the front of the operator platform) to a fully extended position of 9-7 (from the booth wall to the front of the operator platform.) Extended reach feature available that moves operator platform from an retraced position of 3-8 to a fully extended position of 14 from the booth wall to the front of the operator platform. The three axes of travel can be operated either independently or at the same time. The lift is controlled by the operator from a control console located in the front of the platform, this allows the worker to face forward and observe the area as they move the lift. Along with the motion controls for the lift, the console includes an emergency stop button, emergency descent actuation button and an unoiled air supply connection for tools or equipment.Properly maintained, LPIs personnel lifts and work platform with provide many years of trouble free performance increasing both the safety and performance of your workers.

LPCEP Series Personnel Lift

The LPCEP series of lifts are CE Marked and designed for working at heights in classified zones such as paint spray booths, but can also be used in wash and assembly areas. The three axes of movement, X, Y & Z allow the operator to position themselves in the most ergonomic position to complete their work task. The lift is guided in a straight line along a track that can be mounted to the wall of a paint booth or other vertical support structure. This is considered the X-axis travel and can be virtually unlimited in length. The Y-axis is the movement of the operator platform in and out away from the main lift mast and is available with extensions that provide up to 1.5 meters of travel. The Z-axis is the Up Down movement of the operator platform and is currently available with maximum raised platform heights up to 5.5 meters. The LPCEP Series of lifts also offer options that are designed to enhance your work performance and efficiency.

LP2 High Volume Solids Paint Lift

The environments that the LP2 High Volume lift will be utilized in are high volume, high solids, paint booth applications. The amount of over-spray that accumulates on them is extreme and can cause maintenance issues with most standard lift designs. Changes have been incorporated into this lift to minimize both the amount of maintenance and the time that it takes to do maintenance on the lift. In this environment it is not a matter of how often cleaning is required, but making it easier to do.
