The Chariot electric vehicle has a very rugged construction that is perfect for industrial applications. The drive unit uses a heavy duty chain to the drive wheel with a final drive ratio of 7:4:1. The body utilizes 14-gauge powder coated structural steel and a smooth body plate; diamond plate steel is also available as an option. The frame is a heavy duty welded steel chassis and the tires are 4.80 x 8, pneumatic, 6-ply rated, load range C. A low center of gravity and the increased visibility of stand-up operation mean the Chariot is a safe way to move around an indoor or outdoor space. Steering is easy with the handle bar system. Moving three times faster than normal walking speed allows you to cover more ground on your Chariot in less time. An on board charger and the batteries are easy to access and service. Two 6 volt, 225 amp hour, 115 minute, deep cycle batteries give you a long run-time and a long drive range.
