EeonTex(TM) conductive textiles are unique materials made using proprietary conductive coating technologies. The present EeonTex product line consists of conductive textiles and items made of conductive fabric, such as ESD garments, gloves, wipes, and hook & loop. Fibers and yarns can be treated on a limited basis as well. Individual filaments within a fabric or yarn are completely and uniformly coated with conductive formulations. Almost all fabrics of any composition and construction can be coated using the unique aqueous processes. Typical substrates include wovens, nonwovens, felts and knits of polyester, nylon, glass, quartz, spandex, polyolefins, and aramids While imparting electrical conductivity and some color to the substrates, the intensity of which depends on the degree of conductivity, the coating and process barely affect the strength, drape, flexibility, and porosity of the starting substrates. New coating formulations allow for lighter colors and more stable products. EeonTex fabrics are custom-made for desired electrical resistance, thickness, porosity, strength, stretchability, etc. Depending on the particular base fabric, EeonTex fabrics can possess surface resisitvities between 10 ohmsq and 10 billion ohmsq.
