We offer the best product range of Threaded Piping System, Manifolds, Clamp Joint Piping System, Armored Spacers and Gaskets.
Micromold's FLUOR-O-FLO® NPT Threaded Piping System is well suited for low pressure laboratory and process industry applications demanding: Extreme corrosion resistance High purity High temperature capability It is generally less expensive than PTFE lined piping systems, and has several application advantages over lined piping systems: it is easier to cut to length and install; it is easier to reuse; and it is available in small pipe sizes. Compared to systems made of nickel alloys, such as stainless steel or Hastelloy, or of exotic metals, such as tantalum or zirconium, the FLUOR-O-FLO® system is often a more cost effective solution to severe corrosion problems. All pipe and fittings are solid PTFE. To maximize creep resistance, FNPT fittings are made from special virgin PTFE: Micromold's MICROFLON™. Under pressure, male NPT fittings creep slightly toward the MICROFLON™ low-creep female NPT fittings, resulting in a system that self adjusts to prevent leaks. Available in Schedule 80 pipe sizes from 18" through 4". Most popular size fittings are in stock and can be shipped immediately.
Micromold’s FLUOR-O-FLO® PTFE Manifolds reduce the number of cumbersome and bulky connections and help you tackle your space problems with ease. Lessen design and fabrication problems in process equipment, as well as in laboratory environments - anywhere highly corrosive fluids need to be handled. Since they shorten and condense flow paths, you can expect a reduction in pressure drop as well as more easily balanced flow conditions. This reduction in complexity and number of connections not only reduces initial costs, it can also reduce leaks and maintenance costs down the road. Manifolds can be custom made to suit your design constrain
Our FLUOR-O-FLO® XPress PTFE Clamp-Joint Piping System* is an ideal solution to drainage and other low pressure systems for difficult-to-handle fluids, providing: Safety Flexibility Extreme corrosion resistance The system includes pipe and fittings that are connected using coupling-clamps uniquely designed for PTFE joints*. They incorporate multiple o-ring seals designed to take advantage of the natural deformation (creep) of PTFE, eliminating the need to retighten joints. The joints are strong, reliable and leak tight. The system is ideally suited for drainage applications in which highly agressive fluids must be handled. These especially include laboratories in the pharmaceutical industry in which tough solvents and sometimes unpredicted fluid mixtures must be drained. Applications also include drain lines for concentrated acids and alkalis. The system is also well suited to other low-pressure process industry applications where the corrosion resistance and purity of PTFE are desirable.
Armored Spacers complement plastic-lined piping systems to fit where lined spools or distance pieces won't by serving the same functions as solid plastic spacers, but with the pressure rating of steel pipe. Ring, full-face, reducing, orifice, tapered and conical-bore configurations are available to suit your application. To ease installation, all sizes can be supplied with locator tabs. Most sizes are available from stock, or can be made quickly to suit your requirements.
We offer all standard styles, sizes and fillers, and are more than happy to do custom gaskets to your specifications. We manufacture envelope gaskets with a variety of standard fillers. There are both slit and machined styles, as well as solid virgin PTFE Class 150 or higher gaskets. Our turn-around and delivery record is unparalleled in the specialty gasket business and our half century of experience with PTFE gasket manufacturing helps ensure your satisfaction with our quality products.
The high capacity of our FLUOR-O-FLO® PTFE and PVDF Basket Strainers allows you to maximize up-time by stretching the time between clean-outs. Our elegantly simple design and robust construction ensure years of trouble-free service. The slant-head PTFE cartridge minimizes head-loss. And, the easily removable cartridge can be serviced in a matter of minutes.
Lined Steel Reducing FlangesOur PTFE lined steel straight-bore reducing flanges are used for connecting different size flanges of PTFE lined steel pipe. While a full range of sizes are available, non-standard sizes are our specialty.
Installation of our FLUOR-O-FLO® PTFE threaded piping system can now be done quickly and easily using our handy installation kit. The kit aids in making perfect NPT threads in the field, in about the same amount of time that powered threading tools take to thread steel. Standard contractors’ powered threading tools are not recommended for PTFE piping. They cause leakage at the joint by distorting and tearing the relatively soft material. Our kits are available for each size pipe we sell and contain one each of the following:
Micromold's FLUOR-O-FLO® tank adapters allow quick, easy connection of our Schedule 80 PTFE threaded pipe system, or any NPT pipe system to tanks of any material: plastic, metal, or lined. The fittings can be installed without adapters in either flat wall tanks, or many cylindrical tanks. For small diameter tanks, we can supply custom adapters. PTFE fittings have NPT connections. Fittings are also available in PVDF. The PVDF fittings are available with both NPT and socket weld connections. All fittings are made from natural virgin materials. To maximize creep resistance, our PTFE bulkhead fittings are made from MICROFLON™ low-creep virgin PTFE. Standard fittings are supplied with Teflon® FEP-encapsulated hollow-core silicone o-rings. PFA encapsulated hollow-core silicone o-rings, PFA encapsulated Viton, or other o-ring materials can be supplied.
