Moog's Integrated Hydraulic Manifold Systems are fully self-contained systems comprised of hydraulic manifolds, cartridge valves, and servo cartridge valves. Designed and built for each customer's application, the circuit logic and functionality of the manifold is engineered to meet exact performance, safety and mounting requirements. Moog is the expert in providing high performance, reliable cartridge and servo cartridge valves with advanced safety functionality that are matched ideally to the needs of the system. Moog's custom approach to manifold design allows for a wide variety of machine control solutions for challenging applications such as metal forming and die casting machines. Our systems offer many advantages including reduced size, weight, and cost and are known as a cleaner, leak-free and more reliable solution. The fully integrated features of our integrated hydraulic manifold systems make for easy installation. Gone are the sub plate manifolds, hard or flexible piping, connectors, and clamps formerly known with traditional distribution systems

LifeGuard ultrasonic air bubble detectors feature proprietary swept frequency technology, making these sensors more reliable and accurate than those utilizing fixed frequency or pulse-type circuitry. Moog's ultrasonic bubble sensors offer the most flexibility in air bubble sensor sizes, with three standard configurations for common tubing sizes. Additionally, production performance equivalent (quick-turn) custom sensors for use with any tubing size are available utilizing in-house 3D printing capabilities

Typically fiber optic rotary joints are part of a more comprehensive rotary interface; in addition to the fiber passes there are electrical power and signal channels. As the largest slip ring supplier in the world, Moog is able to select the appropriate slip ring to integrate with any FORJ. Moog is also able to integrate fluid rotary unions to allow the transfer of liquid or gas across the rotary interface. This includes both low pressure fluid lines such as would be used for a coolant or high pressure hydraulic lines. It is also common to incorporate other rotary components, such as resolvers, encoders, motors and actuators into advanced rotary interface assemblies. These rotary interface solutions can be provided to meet unique environmental requirements from deep space to 5500 meters below the ocean surface. The integration of FORJs into more complete rotary interface assemblies allows optimum performance at the lowest cost to the customer

Moog has expanded its motion solutions by adding a line of high performance brushless custom motors. Moog Aspen Motion Technologies solves OEM motion control problems by utilizing its engineering capability to design and manufacture innovative products including permanent magnet brushless motors, DSP intensive controls and value added components. These custom solutions offer a competitive advantage in both features and costs for a wide range of applications and markets

Moog biaxial gimbals are well suited for performing spaceflight tracking, scanning, and positioning functions. Applications include solar array drives, antenna positioners, and optical telescope and instrument drives. The biaxial gimbal supports and positions the majority of larger payloads and can be configured for limited rotation with the inclusion of range-defining hard stops on actuator outputs or for continuous rotation on one or both axes with the integration of a slip ring assembly. The unit is driven by the standard Moog Electronic Control Unit

The EPGA is specifically designed for applications requiring high torque, high stiffness, load carrying capability, and small increment output step size. In order to accommodate a wide variation of customer needs, Moog has successfully qualified two variations of the EPGA: 3-Phase Motor and 4-Phase Motor

electric propulsion thruster gimbal assemblies that range in size from small to large, and in return, are intended to point various sized Xenon thruster engines. The gimbals can be configured for wide rotation on both axes, limited with the inclusion of range defining hard stops on the thruster axes. The gimbals provide vector-pointing capabilities for various propulsion thruster configurations including Xenon, Arc-jet and NTOMMH. There are multiple Model-T TGAs in flight with more planned for launch.
