Mc3

The MC3 Master Clock is a cost effective yet powerful master clock. The MC3 comes standard with three solid state 120VAC outputs to directly control clock circuits without the need for additional relays. These solid state outputs are capable of driving up to 3 amps each (7 amps combined) and incorporate zero-cross technology to handle undesirable current surges and inrush. The MC3 uses the power-line frequency to keep accurate time eliminating the inaccuracies of crystal oscillators found in other products. The MC3 can be equipped with a GPS antenna (order separately as MC3-GPS) to keep time with the National Institute of Standards and Technology NIST satellite time base accurate to one second over a million years. The web enabled version (WeMC3) can be ordered providing PC browser based configuration and programming as well as NIST or computer network time synchronization. The MC3 and secondary clocks combine to create a maintenance-free time system automatically synchronizing the clocks and adjusting for daylight savings and power outages. When there is a power loss, the MC3 can keep time internally for over 150 days without the need for batteries or expensive rechargeable battery packs. The MC3 can correct the complete line of National Time & Signal clocks as well as synchronous clock systems by other manufacturers. The MC3 can even transmit Nationals On-demand Instant Reset over the existing clock system wiring without affecting the existing clocks. The MC3 will also synchronize time with a sound system, paging system, phone system, media retrieval system or an existing master clock which can provide a synchronizing output. This universal system synchronization is easy with an optically isolated input capable of receiving synchronization pulses of 17-132VAC from other sources. The synchronization pulses can be a simple contact closure at 12:00 or one of many common clock reset formats using National's Automatic Protocol Detection algorithm. A serial port is also available to communicate time information with other equipment.

300 Electronic Thermometer

NATIONAL TIME combines accuracy and reliability of solid state design with meticulous craftsmanship to produce analog thermometer movements you can count on. Our electronic dial thermometer is a state-of-the-art microprocessor based control with accuracy of +- C over its entire range. A proprietary temperature sensor minimizes unnecessary temperature searching, resulting in extended bearing and motor life. Standard movements display temperature ranges of -20 to 120F or -40 to 100F (-30 to 50 C or -40 to 40C) over an angular graduated dial of 280 (288 on Celsius models). 300 Series can support dial sizes up to 48" diameter. The universal sensor enclosure design facilitates side or bottom mounting. A 15 cable is supplied. Consult factory for two-way thermometers and special installations.

15MR Clock Mechanisms

National Times largest series clock mechanisms. Welded plate steel housings are CNC bored for precise shaft alignment and smooth operation required for clocks this size. These mechanisms support hands for dial sizes to 50' in diameter and also utilizes our reliable heavy duty worm worm gear drive technology. In addition, all shaft bearing surfaces are outfitted with enclosed ball bearings. Hands can be advanced with continuous drive advancement or impulsed each minute depending on the end users preference. Both are achieved with the use of a 115VAC 50Hz or 60Hz synchronous high torque gear motor. This series unit can be outfitted with collector rings to power neon transformers located on each hand allowing neon outlining. Hands are balanced for the additional weight of the transformers and the neon is provided locally.

4MR Clock Mechanisms

The National Time 4MR series clock mechanisms employ wormworm gear drive technology to provide smooth and continuous advancement of the hands. In addition, this technology protects the clock mechanism from natures harshest elements such as wind shear, snow and ice. The 4MR series cast aluminum gear housing design also serves as a perpetual lubrication reservoir as well as the tough backbone of the mechanism. This mechanism is driven by a permanent magnet, 115V 50Hz or 60Hz synchronous gear motor. The 4MR series mechanisms offer mounting options to suit all applications with dial sizes to 11' in diameter. Custom shaft lengths can be provided to meet specific project requirements. Remote manual switch or automatic clock controls are used for resetting the units to the correct time following power outages or daylight savings adjustments. 4MR mechanisms are compatible for synchronization with the NIST atomic clock when used with the MC100-GPS or MC100-LAN interface options.

3MR Clock Mechanisms

The National Time 3MR series clock mechanisms employ wormworm gear drive technology to provide smooth and continuous advancement of the hands. In addition, this technology protects the clock mechanism from nature's harshest elements such as wind shear, snow and ice. The standard mechanism is driven by a permanent magnet, 115V 50Hz or 60Hz synchronous gear motor. The 3MR series mechanisms offer mounting options to suit all applications with dial sizes to 48" diameter. Custom shaft lengths can be provided to meet specific project requirements. Remote manual switch or automatic clock controls are used for resetting the units to the correct time following power outages or daylight savings adjustments. 3MR series mechanisms are compatible for synchronization with the NIST atomic clock when used with the MC100-GPS or MC100- LAN options.

2MR Clock Mechanisms

The National Time 2M 2MR series clock mechanisms are economical yet employ worm worm gear drive technology similar to its bigger cousins providing smooth and continuous advancement of the hands. The standard mechanism is driven by a permanent magnet, 115V 50Hz or 60Hz synchronous gear motor. These mechanisms offer mounting options to suit all applications with dial sizes to 42" diameter. Custom shaft lengths can be provided to meet specific project requirements. Either can be set manually by turning the minute hand without damaging the unit. Access to the hands is required to set the time on the 2M series mechanism while the 2MR series incorporates dual motors and the ability to be reset remotely with multiple reset options.
