Ferrous

FAST CUTTING EXCEPTIONAL FINISH is achieved combining high cutting speeds with the fine cut finish of cold sawing. Cermets self-sharpening wear pattern keeps cutting forces low even after extended use, resulting in mirrored smooth surfaces.

INDUSTRIAL DEMANDS UNRIVALED OUTPUT from blades designed specificially for high output operations. Single or Twin machines cutting no, minimal or large ID-scarf. Cutting speeds: 80 - 600 mmin. Common Machines: Rattunde, Mair, MTM, RSA, OTO Mills, Adige, Nakata and Olympia.

VERSATILITY IN HIGH STRESS OPERATION through blades developed for heavy cutting applications creating mechanical stress. Our blades provide flexibility among material specs and cutting parameters. Common shapes include: steel pipes, tubes, sections & rails.

Nonferrous

COMPLEX EXTRUSIONS THIN KERF blades are 20% thinner than conventional saw blades, providing tremendous material savings and reduction of recycling costs. A thinner kerf creates clean cuts, reduced harmonics and increased production.

SIMPLIFY SAWING ADVANCED CARBIDE makes cutting all types of non-ferrous metal simple and easy. Specially formulated teeth retain extremely sharp edges, extending tool life and maintaining consistent chip removal. Operations can simplify cutting of plate, extrusion and solid material.

STRAIGHT CUTS IN LARGE SOLIDS is possible by incorporating heavier gauge steel plates used to withstand rigors associated with sawing larger dimensional pieces. Incorporating appropriate side clearance and relief geometries provide straight, consistent cutting.

Wood

HEAVY RIP SAWING CUSTOM DESIGN flat tensioned plates enable truer run-out for smoother finish and exact dimensions. Specific designs utilize inside and outside wipers, manufactured according to customers application and requirements.

CROSS CUTTING INCREASE YIELD applying a thinner kerf, enabling tremendous increases while making less cutting pressure for very clean cuts. Laser slit designs allow reduced plate thickness without compromising lateral stiffness. Blades will produce less swarf operating at extreme cycle times.

FINISH CUTS EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY that outlast conventional saw blades up to 2 times. This results are possible utilizing: straight tensioned plates, vibration dampening slits, exotic carbide grades and advanced coatings. Common materials: veneer, melamine, HPL, MDF and HDF.

Friction

Friction saw blades are used in industrial flying or stationary sawing operations cutting structural beams, tubular products, steel grating, culvert pipe and other steel shapes at very high peripheral speeds, 18, 000 to 26, 000 SFPM. Though the applications are quite different, both friction sawing and hot sawing utilize friction saw blades. In friction sawing the high peripheral speed causes the workpiece to melt and hot steel is swept out of the cut. Hot sawing is a much less severe application than friction sawing, requiring only a fraction of the energy required to cut cold material.

Blades are available in a variety of tooth shapes, in both Chrome Vanadium (CrV) and Tungsten Molybdenum (Mo) with the option of chromium coating to extend blade life and avoid tooth chipping. Heat treatment gives a hardness between 38 and 46 HRc depending on the materials to be cut. Through Hardened Blades up to 60" diameter (1525mm) and Flame Hardened Blades up to 100" diameter (2500mm)

Segmental

Segmental saw blades were developed to increase cutting capacity while maintaining reasonable costs associated with early post war sawing. Chrome vanadium bodies are made of alloyed steel, tensioned and straightened with a strength of approx. 1400 Nmm. Tooth segments can be replaced if teeth are broken or chipped. Segments are offered in riveted M-2 or M-35 high speed steel, incorporating cobalt. M-35 segments guarantee optimum protection of wear and extended life of the saw blade.

Sizes range from 10 (250mm) to 120 (3050mm) diameter in various tooth profiles. Typical ferrous applications include structural, tube and profile sawing, utilizing slow rotational speeds with higher chip loads per tooth. Nonferrous applications include aluminum, brass and copper billets, incorporating fast rotational speeds and consistent chip loads to maximize performance, sawing billet from 8 (200mm) to 48 (1220mm) in diameter.
