Pivot Point manufactures Clevis Pins with grooves in-house. Clevis Pins may also be called Hitch Pins, Cold Headed Pins, Headed Pins or Cold Formed Pins. Only the finest cold heading quality wire is used. All Clevis Pins with grooves are made-to-order per your specifications. Various material options are available and additional plating finishes are offered as required. Stainless Steel Clevis Pins with grooves are also available.

Positive Lock Pins are also known as ball lock pins, ball pins, double ball detent pins, push button pins, quick release pins, quick pins and hitch pins. Positive Lock Pins have a push button that initiates ball action and retraction. Positive lock pin design combines secure fastening with quick release ease of removal. Double ball lock pin design increases retention capabilities. Steel Lanyards or Nylon Lanyards may be added as a low cost tether to prevent loss.

Quick Release Lynch Pins- also known as Linch Pins, 3 point hitch pins, Quick Pins, Click Pins and Snapper Pins- are made from low carbon steel, and plated zinc with a yellow chromate dip for added corrosion protection. Steel Lanyards or Nylon Lanyards may be added as a low cost tether to prevent Lynch Pin loss. These quick locking pins do not require cotter pins and are faster to use than clevis pins and cotters. The ring is made from hard drawn MB spring wire. Linch Pins feature an "over center" ring loop attached to the head which snaps down hard to hold the fastener in place. A special Linch Pin with a heavy duty ring is also available for extreme applications- see Stock Code HANG-8HD.

Quick Release Ball Detent Pins from Pivot Point feature a ball detent that depresses and springs back up for "quick release" applications. Used as a convenient way to adjust or remove accessories on equipment. Featuring a black molded knob that is aesthetically pleasing and makes inserting and removing the pin simple. These pins are also known as Hitch Pins, Cotterless Hitch Pins, Cotterless Quick Pins, Quick Release Pins, Quick Pins, Quick Lock Pins and Ball Lock Pins. Standard sizes are made from low carbon steel, zinc plated. Stainless steel Detent Pins are also available upon request. Rigid quality control procedures ensure a consistent fastener you can count on.
