However, nylon's one weakness is a propensity to absorb moisture and thus have poor dimensional stability.

Polycarbonate

Unfilled Polycarbonate is an amorphous thermoplastic. Good electrical properties combined with superior impact strength and moderate chemical resistance make this product widely accepted for numerous applications. Glass Filled Glass-reinforced polycarbonate offers higher temperature and tensile properties than the unfilled polycarbonate.

ABS

ABS is a terpolymer and an amorphous resin. It is manufactured by combining three different compounds. The three that make ups of ABS are acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene. ABS occupies the unique position of being a bridge between the commodity and other higher performance engineering thermoplastics. Its performance is characterized by toughness and impact strength even at low temperatures, good stiffness and machinability.
