The TF-1 has become the preferred Tideflex Check Valve configuration for outfalls. Designed for in-structure and end-of-pipe installations, the TF-1 features a flat bottom and flared top. This allows the valve to be installed at a lower overall elevation than other configurations, with less bottom clearance required. This is especially important in low-lying areas where maintaining as much driving head is critical, or where silt, sand and debris might tend to collect beneath the valve.

Introduced and patented by Red Valve, the air -actuated Type A Pinch Valve offers a unique, cost-effective solution to flow control problems. More Red Valve Type A Valves are in use than any other Pinch Valve throughout the world. The secret is in the rubber sleeve - the valves only wetted part. Actuation of the valve is accomplished by air or hydraulic pressure placed on the sleeve. The valve body acts as a built-in actuator, eliminating costly pneumatic, hydraulic or electric actuators. Adding air pressure within the annular space between the body and the sleeve can open, throttle or close the valve.

The Red Valve Series 5200 Control Valve offers maximum durability with precise control and virtually eliminates maintenance. The Series 5200 valve is designed in sizes 1 to 4. A heavy-duty, rugged pinch mechanism positions the sleeve resulting in accurate flow control. The valve has no packing to maintain or seats to wear and the need for expensive body alloys is eliminated. The standard Series 5200 Control Pinch Valve is designed with a stroke adjustment located inside the valve yoke. The stroke adjustment allows customers to easily make small control changes in the field and simplifies actuator maintenance by creating a removal point in the valve stem. The stroke adjustment allows the user to fine tune the flow control as the sleeve wears, particularly in slurry applications.
