Our Products

We are leaders in the market for providing best range of Wire and Tube Bending Components, SEAL RING SPRINGS and fine blanking parts

SEAL RING SPRINGS

  • Material: Carbon steels, stainless steels, steels with copper-zinc or aluminum-zinc alloy
  • Wire diameter: 0.20 to 0.63 mm
  • Spring load: 0.5 to 11 N
Seal ring springs, also called garter springs, are used under tensile load in seals in automotive and mechanical engineering. In an open state, these springs are used in weaving machines.

Fine Blanking Parts

  • Material Depends on the requirements, including special materials (steel, copper, aluminum and various alloys, high strength grades)
  • Punching force: up to 8800 kN
  • Material thickness: up to 12 mm
  • Strip width: up to 450 mm
Fine blanking parts are characterized by extremely precise, rectangular crack and tear-free cut surfaces. These precision parts are manufactured with the tightest tolerances, great angular accuracy and the best possible flatness. A complex design is possible through the integration of different forming processes in the tool.

Wire And Tube Bending Components

  • Wire material: Iron and steel spring wires in different material grades and with different surfaces
  • Tube material: Precision steel tubes according to EN10305-1, 2, 3 and 5 0.23 - 12 mm diameter
  • Wire thicknesses: up to 50 mm
Bending components made of wire and tube materials are manufactured in nearly every multi-dimensional form according to the customers specifications and drawings. In addition to stabilization and mounting, different elastic features are also created through the use of spring steel wires. Various surface finishes are possible upon request.

Piston Ring Springs

  • Outer diameter: 1 - 17 mm
  • Wire diameter: 0.40 - 4, 30 mm
  • Nominal height: 1.5 to 4 mm
Piston ring springs are spring elements for the oil scraper ring. SCHERDEL is the technological pioneer and world leader in the production of piston ring springs. SCHERDEL piston ring springs are designed using in-house calculation programs and are optimized in coordination with the customer. The concentrated expertise of internal machine building can be used during production.

Valve Springs

  • Material thickness: 2 to 6.5 mm
  • Material cross-section: Oval, round, MultiArc
Valve springs are highly stressed components and are therefore premium products, which are specially designed to the customer's requirements. Optimal development includes the individual kinematic consideration of the valve train, the static design of the spring while considering the wire profile, material, spring shape, etc., as well as the dynamic projection or measurement of the valve train dynamics.

Tension Springs

  • Material Patented cold-drawn spring steel wire according to DIN EN 10270 (1-3) Oil-tempered spring steel wire according to DIN EN 10270-2 (at high temperatures)
  • With corrosion protection: Coated wires or stainless steel spring steel wire according to DIN EN 10270-3 Cold-formed tension springs with a diameter of 0.1 - 16 mm.
Tension springs are helical springs that counteract an axial force directed at the extension of the spring. The ends of the tension spring body are equipped with loops, hooks or the like in order to transmit power.

Torsion Bars

  • Material: Patented cold drawn spring steel wire according to DIN EN 10270-1 Oil hardened and tempered spring steel wire according to DIN EN 10270-2 Corrosion-protected wires are also available
Torsion bars are tube bending parts, which are usually manufactured from round or profiled cross-sections. Torsion bars transfer torsional moments through specially bent spring ends.

Power Springs

  • Material Spring strip material made from preferred orientation strip and stainless steel spring strip.
  • Strip thicknesses: 0.05 to 4 mm
  • Strip width: 2.5 to 60 mm
  • Torques: 1.0 Ncm to 200 Nm (1-50 rpm) for power springs
Constant force and power springs consist of a spirally wound metal strip in a plane shape and act as mechanical energy storage (spring motor). Due to preferred orientation strips and special raw material, SCHERDEL springs can survive the endurance test under extreme conditions, such as exposure to high heat or extreme loads. SCHERDEL manufactures constant force and power springs as individual parts, but also in complete or partial assemblies.

Spiral Springs

  • Material: Spring strip material (1.4310, 50CrV4, CrSi, C steel, preferred orientation strip)
  • Strip thickness: Strip thickness:
  • Strip widths: 2 to 60 mm
  • Torque to 140 Nm
SCHERDEL displays extensive expertise as a market leader due to its many years of experience, particularly in the field of spiral springs for camshaft adjusters. In the example of the spiral spring for camshaft adjusters, SCHERDEL accompanied the product development from basic research to marketability.

Wave Springs

  • Material thickness: 0.3 to 3 mm
  • Material width: 1 to 8 mm
  • Outer diameter of the spring: 10 to 250 mm (for special applications up to 300 mm)
Wave springs are wound or stamped spring-loaded parts, which are usually manufactured from flat material (or also from round material). For static to medium dynamic use, the wave spring is a space-saving miracle with reductions in installation height of up to 50%. Due to the special geometry and function of wave springs, there is a very low hysteresis compared to when using a disc spring. A variety of materials are suitable for manufacturing.
