High Temperature Fiberglass or Silica Tadpole Gasket Tape for excellent sealing applications. Tadpole seals have a cover and a core. Cover materials are flexible high-temperature tapes that are pre-sized or slit to accommodate the dimensions of the finished tadpole seal. The cover is sewn with high temperature thread that encapsulates the core resulting in resilient high temperature tadpole gasket tape.

This tadpole gasket tape comes with 304SS Hollow Core mesh. Superior sealing capability for temperatures up to 500F. The tail or flange is used with your flat stock metal to attach to the oven door or application. Generally our tadpole gasket seals are either riveted or bolted in place using the tail, should flat stock be unavailable at your site. PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) is also available to assist in installation only; not as a permanent seal. The PSA helps hold the Tadpole in place while bolting the product down. **Silicone coating is available for services up to 500F. We always like to offer our 101-MDB-J Overknit wire mesh jacket to fend off abrasion. This jacket always provides more longevity to your Tadpole Gasket Tape once installed.
