The Q-XP is a pre-polished, pre-assembled connector compatible with the standard SC connector that uses index matching gel. Instead of epoxy, an internal mechanical grip, gently but effectively holds the fiber in place and can be installed in under 2 minutes. Without polishing or adhesives the XP Fit Plus makes on site installations quick and easy, diminishing the need for epoxy curing and hand polishing at the work site.

The Q-XP comes with an assembling jig and fiber holder for 900m tight buffered fiber which makes for an accurate and concise alignment and fiber cleave when terminating the connector. The E-2000 Connector Series is one of the few fiber optic connectors featuring a spring-loaded shutter which fully protects the ferrule from dust and scratches.
