The NEX-FS700R is equipped with a new 4K Exmor Super 35 CMOS sensor (Total 11.6 million pixels) capable of cranking at up to 240 frames full HD resolution and up to 960 frames per second at reduced resolution. The high-speed readout chip is optimized for motion picture shooting, producing exceptional image fidelity with high sensitivity, low noise and minimal aliasing. The FS series cameras E-mount is designed to accept virtually all 35mm SLR, DSLR and cinematography lenses, with the use of simple, inexpensive third party adapters (sold separately) -without optical degradation-. FS series camera owners are able to use their existing 35mm lenses and add more lenses without being limited to a particular lens brand or mount. The NEX-FS700R features full 2K RAW up to 240fps or 4K RAW up to 60fps output to Sonys AXS-R5 RAW recorder. 2K and 4K recording is also available with compatible third party recorders. The NEXFS700R has an ISO range of 320 64, 000. It features "S Log2" which allows the very wide latitude of the camera to be captures. The camera also features 800% 709 gamma curves, widely enhancing its exposure latitude and HD capability.

The NEX-EA50UM has F4 Constant Aperture Servo Zoom G Lens "SELP18105G", and is the replacement model of the NEX-EA50UH.The lens features constant F4 maximum aperture throughout the zoom range, quiet and continuous variable focuszoomiris operation, and the length of the lens remains constant for maximum handling consistency, and Optical Steady Shot image stabilization, making it ideal for shooting moving images. Variable zooming speed is electronically controlled by zoom rocker levers located on the camcorders handgrip, top handle, a zoom rocker on the lens itself and by LANC compatible remote controllers as well. The camera is the first in a new series of affordable, entry-level large sensor NXCAM professional camcorders. New Digital Cinematography camera which utilizes New 20 Megapixel Super 35mm CMOS imager, whose active image area is 24.7mm X 13.1mm. F65 camera has an integral PL mount which is standard for Film cameras. ARRI and Cooke Lens interface data and Metadata are recorded on SR Memory recorder.

F65 camera has base sensitivity of 800EI. In this mode you have 7 stops latitude over key and 7 stops under providing phenomenal Dynamic Range. F65 covers a wider color space over any other digital cameras. This allows more headroom for color grading and future proof camera original material.

The Rotary shutter has range of 11.5 degrees to 180 degrees. This eliminates CMOS motion artifacts. F65RS also outputs shutter pulse for 3D Motion Control rig application. With the rotary shutter you also have Built in ND filters of 0.9, 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8.

In the viewfinder and monitor output from the camera, X2 and X4 magnification can be enabled for critical focusing.
