The professional-grade PD1000 HD encoder modulation system allows users to encode HD, SD, and HD-SDI signals in MPEG-2 or H.264 formats, all in a single rack space. The unit supports real-time encoding, while offering the flexibility of two, four, six, or eight HDMI (in the clear), HD-SDI, component, and composite (closed captioning) inputs. The HD encoder offers simultaneous QAM and IP outputs. The PD1000 enables remote control and monitoring via an intuitive Web interface, provides virtual channel mapping, and supports Dolby Digital audio encoding. The HD encoder is ideal for commercial residential properties, academic and medical facilities, local area network applications for both CATV and broadcast, as well as the hospitality industry.

Part of Pico Digital's all-digital CONDOR solution, the HD-2 HD QAM set-top box descrambles signals from the CONDOR headend while converting digital signals to analog for display on legacy TVs. Featuring HDMI and composite outputs, the unit offers PVRmedia player capabilities, Electronic Program Guide (EPG) support, and an intuitive high-definition interface for ease of use. The HD-2 can be deployed as a stand-alone solution for nonencrypted clear QAM applications.

Part of Pico Digital's all-digital CONDOR solution, the VMX3-1 HD QAM set-top box descrambles signals from the CONDOR headend while converting digital signals to analog for display on legacy TVs. The unit is equipped with a triple tuner for the recording of three TV channels at once and features Verimatrix CAS for content protection. Offering HDMI and composite outputs, the unit provides PVRmedia player capabilities, Electronic Program Guide (EPG) support, and an intuitive high-definition interface for ease of use. The VMX3-1 can be deployed as a standalone solution for non-encrypted clear QAM applications.

The miniCMTS offers 16 downstream bonded channels for up to 800-Mbps downstream 120-Mbps upstream data delivery. In a residential setting with 200 modems, this data rate provides for a 4-Mbps uncontended internet connection per subscriber.
