Staticon mine vehicle chargers are our premium line of mine locomotive and vehicle chargers designed for the rugged environments and requirements of under and above ground mine operations. Mine chargers are housed in rugged all steel cabinets having drip-shield hoods and feature double impregnated magnetics and tropicalized components and wiring to guard against moisture. Most of Canadas skating and hockey arenas use Zamboni machines to groom the ice surface. More and more of these machines use battery powered electric motors in place of the propane powered ones which pollute the indoor environment. Staticon Zamboni chargers are on-site to boost and recharge these batteries. These chargers are available in 80 V (40 cells) versions for lead acid batteries in 520 t0 940 Ah capacities.
