Tactair Nose Wheel Steering Control Valves are designed to control rotary or push-pull nose wheel steering systems through input from a steering control computer and cockpit tiller.Tactair Nose Wheel Steering Control valves feature dual coil electro-hydraulic servo-valves for reliability. Additional elements such as power-on and power-off shimmy damping, solenoid controlled shut-offby-pass valves, and volume compensation can be incorporated into the manifold to eliminate the need for separate valves which add cost and weight to the system.

Tactair's Main Landing Gear Unlock Actuators provide the linear force necessary to unlock the over-center link in order to retract the main landing gear.Landing Gear Unlock Actuator bodies are hogged out of aluminum in a one-piece construction which is lightweight, robust, and reliable. Actuators feature spherical bearings and high strength and wear resistant materials utilized in the piston and end gland.

These solenoid operated, spool and sleeve valves can be designed and sized for any architecture.FeaturesTactair Landing GearDoor Control valves feature a 4-Way, 3-Position design which has proven reliability and robustness. One valve can control a landing gear system or multiple valves can be incorporated into a system for separate nose landing gear, main landing gear, and landing gear door control. All Tactair spool and sleeve valves feature a hardened spool and sleeve assembly which is highly resistant to wear and provides longevity. Solenoids can be either single or dual coil design and all incorporate reverse-recovery diodes for electrical protection.

Tactair Landing GearDoor Uplocks utilize a simple and robust mechanical latching design for retaining the Landing Gear in the 'Up' position. The latching design includes two methods of release for lowering the landing gear, a normal and alternate mode. In the normal mode, a hydraulic actuator is used to release the landing gear in the normal mode of operation. In the alternate mode, a manual release cable is used to actuate the mechanical release into the uplock.

Tactair Landing Gear Dump Valves have been utilized reliably on a variety of aircraft for over 30 years. Tactair Dump valves are manually operated and provide an alertnate or emergency extension method for landing gear systems.

Tactair Swivel Valves are mechanical rotary valves which provide directional flow control for Tactair Nose Wheel Steering Actuators. They are designed concurrently with the nose wheel steering system to provide flow reversal in actuators during over-center conditions.Tactair Swivel Valve vane and housings are matched to ensure low leakage and robust and reliable performance. Vane elements are made from hardened materials for wear resistance and longevity. They re-direct flow from the C1 to the C2 port depending on rotary position.
