PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is perhaps the most widely used fluoropolymer available because it has several features which make it ideal for a wide range of applications. It is more flexible than all other tubing in its class, and can resist nearly all industrial chemicals. With a temperature range of approximately -330F to 500F, it offers the widest temperature range of the fluoropolymers. In addition, it has excellent electrical properties and low permeability. PTFE tubing is most widely used as laboratory tubing and for applications where chemical resistance and purity are essential. PTFE has a very low coefficient of friction and is one of the most slippery substances known. We offer a broad range of sizes which can be used with standard compression fittings.

Fluor-A-Pure (HP) has been specifically developed for the most extreme chemical and ultra-high purity service conditions. Unlike typical high purity grades of PFA (perfluoroalkoxy), Fluor-A-Pure (HP) is manufactured from 100% virgin PFA. The result is superior micro porosity characteristics and externally smooth surface finishes. Envir-A-Line XX is commonly used for many gases and hydrocarbons. has a unique co-extruded construction, incorporating a highly inert Hytrel inner-liner that exhibits excellent dielectric properties and provides a superior gas and moisture barrier. Its moisture permeability is similar to poly-ether based urethanes. The products outer shell is comprised of a permeable photo-opaque black PVC, so the product can be repeatedly autoclaved without the two materials separating. Used widely in the welding industry because of its superior barrier and dielectric characteristics, Hytrel contains no plasticizers and does not outgas. The consistant quality and performance of Envir-A-Line XX is due partly to the industry leading thickness of our Hytrel inner-liner thickness. Envir-A-Line is also commonly used in the beverage industry.
