TEADIT packing Style 2000 has a diagonally braided construction of pure, expanded flexible graphite-tapes. It is very flexible and supple packing, good alternative to pre-formed graphite-rings. Style 2000 combines all the advantages of pure graphite rings with the flexibilty, compressibility and ease of installation of a conventional packing; very low coefficient of friction and high thermal conductivity; extended shelf life, does not harden; chemically inert (pH 0-14) except with highly oxidizing agents. Rotary pumps and valves in power stations and boiler houses, in the petrochemical industry and many other industrial areas. It is suitable for steam, water, fuel, gases, chemicals, mineral and synthetic oils, effluents. Suitable for all processes, except with highly oxidizing media. It is not suitable for highly oxidizing agents Style 2000 is suitable for a wide range of applications and can reduce stock inventories considerably, provide economic alternatives to asbestos packings, reduce maintenance time and cater for very demanding duties. TEADIT packing Style 2000 has a diagonal braid of pure, expanded flexible graphite ribbons, reinforced with fine metal wires.Combines the benefits of a coil-form packing with the sealing efficiency of pre-formed pure graphite rings; high pressure- and extrusion resistance; excellent thermal conductivity; suitable for a wide temperature range from -200 C up to +650 C in steam and non-oxidizing gases, and up to +450 C in oxidizing media; pressures up to 400 bar can be sealed under ideal mechanical conditions at lower temperatures. All steam and other valves in power stations, refineries, the petrochemical industry, steel mills and many others. It is suitable with steam, water, fuel, gases, condensate, oils, effluents, process water and chemical solutions in all processes, except with highly oxidizing media. Suitable for a very wide range of applications, TEADIT 2000I can reduce stock inventories considerably. It is easy to install because very flexible and conformable. The new TEADIT packing Style 2235 is made from layers of flexible graphite tape plied into compact strands; each individual filament is reinforced with an Inconel* wire jacket. This yarn is then square braided to form a dense yet malleable packing, which is subsequently treated with lubricating agents to reduce stem friction and a corrosion inhibitor to prevent pitting (* Inconel is a registered trademark of International Co.). Teadit style 2235 is a high-performance valve packing, especially designed for high-pressure, high-temperature steam service. It is self-lubricating, non-hardening, dimensionally stable and easy to install. The Inconel wire mesh covering makes this packing highly resistant to extrusion, the advanced construction assures superior leakage control and highest integrity in steam service. Typical applications for Style 2235 include control and block valves, as well as other demanding applications in power plants, refineries and similar industries where high pressures and high temperatures are prevailing. It is designed for steam applications, Teadit Style 2235 can also be used with most chemicals and gases. It is not suitable for highly oxidizing agents at high temperature. Teadit Style 2200 is diagonally braided from high quality pure carbon fibre yarn, impregnated with graphite and a corrosion inhibitor. TEADIT Style 2200 lacks the usual stiffness of conventional carbon packings. Good flexibility and heat dissipating properties, very low coefficient of friction. It has excellent chemical and thermal stability. Style 2200 is very well suited as top and end rings in combination with styles 2000 and 2010. It prevents gap-extrusion of the softer flexible graphite. It can be used equally well in pumps, also boiler feed pumps, valves, mixers, refiners, etc. in many different industries like pulp- and paper, power stations, chemical and pharmaceutical industry and many more. TEADIT style 2200 covers the full pH-range and can be used with nearly all media: cold and hot water, steam, chemicals, hot gases, alcohol, solvents, heat transfer agents, etc. It is not suitable for highly concentrated corrosive acids. Because style 2200 is a very affordable high quality all-round packing, many companies have standardized on it. Because its coefficient of thermal expansion is very similar to that of steel it needs less adjustments of the gland. Low coefficient of friction means low shaft wear. Its low specific gravity results in excellent economy. Style 2200 closes the gap (also price-wise) between conventional packings and pure graphite packings. TEADIT Style 2202 is diagonally braided from pure expanded flexible graphite, reinforced at the corners with a high quality pure carbon yarn. TEADIT Style 2202 is the newest generation of graphite packings, specifically designed for very demanding applications. Because of the special construction style 2202 can be used in areas where normal expanded graphite packings fail. The pure carbon fibres reinforcing the corners and body of this packing, make Style 2202 at least three times more resistant to extrusion and also extremely pressure resistant. This unique and extremely versatile packing can be used in all demanding applications, both static and dynamic. Style 2202 does not suffer from limitations that prevent general service use in both pumps and valves. It is extremely well suited for high temperature - high pressure installations occuring in power stations, petrochemical plants, steel mills etc. Although designed with an eye on high temperature steam applications, Style 2202 can be used with all chemicals but the most aggressive acids. Very good all-purpose packing which can lower stock volumes considerably. It is not suitable for strong oxidizing agents. Style 2202 lacks the stiffness of conventional carbon or graphite packings. Because of the high proportion of expanded flexible graphite TEADIT Style 2202 conforms readily to stuffing box configurations, installs easily and requires little gland adjustments. Excellent extrusion resistance.

TEADIT Style 2236 is a special valve packing which assures extremely low emission, especially designed for high pressure and high temperature service. It is self-lubricating, non hardening, dimensionally stable and easy to install. The Inconel wire mesh covering makes this packing highly resistant to extrusion, the advanced construction assures supreme leakage control and highest integrity in service. Typical applications for style 2236 include all the valves where LOW EMISSION is a must. This packing is suitable for VOC and VHAP emission regulations and exceeds TA-Luft requirements. It is designed for steam applications, Teadit style 2236 can also be used with most chemicals and gases. It is not suitable for highly oxidizing agents at high temperature. It has high mechanical and thermal stability; chemically inert within pH range 0-14; quick and easy to install; low friction, special lubricating system; corrosion inhibitor.
