Hygenic Extruded Natural Rubber Tubing is a thermoset developed from dry natural rubber. Dry natural rubber can be compounded for a variety of uses with various processing aides and curatives before it is manufactured by means of extrusion. Thermosets are irreversibly cured and designed to be molded into their final form, which means they will retain their shape and strength even when reheated.

Hygenic Extruded Natural Rubber Tubing is produced from dry natural rubber that is harvested from live trees that do not have to be cut down, which makes it a renewable resource. Therefore, natural rubber is inherently an environmentally friendly material and is biodegradable. The typical physical properties of Hygenic Natural Rubber tubing closely match those of natural rubber latex.

Our proprietary manufacturing process allows us to make tubing with no detectable levels of surface proteins. Hygenic are also experts at custom compounding and therefore can offer many different formulations to meet most unique customer requirements.

HYPERFORM Thermoplastic Elastomer tubing is a thermoplastic polymer that mimics many of the properties of natural rubber and silicone. HYPERFORM can be a suitable alternative to natural rubber latex and silicone tubing. Like synthetic rubber, thermoplastic is made from a petrochemical material source, but no curatives are required. Therefore, this makes an end product with fewer extractables, creating product solutions that can be designed within established ASTM andor FDA standards. HYPERFORM Thermoplastic Elastomer tubing has been successfully tested to the ISO 10993 standard for various medical applications.

HYSYNAL Synthetic Rubber Tubing is latex protein free tubing that has been successfully tested to the ISO 10993 standard for various medical applications. Because HYSYNAL Synthetic Rubber is a non-latex rubber product, it is the choice for material when latex allergies are a concern. And because it is a petrochemical material source, it is suitable for food contact, as well as medical applications.

HYSYNAL Synthetic Rubber Tubing bonds easily to plastic fittings and is manufactured with less curvature than is usually associated with latex or natural rubber tubing. The physical properties of HYSYNAL Synthetic Rubber Tubing more closely match natural rubber latex tubing than a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) or other non-rubber latex tubing products. HYSYNAL Synthetic Rubber Tubing is a thermoset, like natural rubber; therefore it is not subject to deformation when exposed to heat. Like natural rubber, HYSYNAL Synthetic Rubber can be custom compounded to varying hardness for a wide range of uses.
