The leather we use in the Companion Messenger exterior and interior is made from the highest quality full grain American leather that is both supple and smooth while offering superior comfort. All of the hardware used in the bag is solid cast brass. The bag is stitched with heavy-duty polyester thread and has stress points reinforced with industrial grade brass rivets. The front flap of the Companion Messenger has twin lock closures with easy on and easy off release actions. However the lock closures can also resist a pullout force of up to 220 pounds, allowing you to securely close your bag while at the same time enabling you to open and close easily with your fingertips. The back of the bag has a large quick access pocket with a snap closure and a built in luggage strap- perfect for traveling. The Companion Messenger is highly adaptable and can quickly change between multiple modes of carry. The bag can be used in its crossbody mode, where the form of the bag allows it to comfortably wrap and mold around your waist and hip. The adjustable shoulder straps can also be shortened, slid through the side and locked together at the bottom of the bag to convert into its shoulder mode. In the shoulder mode, the bag can be comfortably worn either across the back or on a single shoulder. The comfortable design of the bag and its slight crescent shape allow it to cusp across your back or side. The Companion Messenger has an ergonomic grip on the top of the bag, designed to accommodate all types of hands. The inside of the messenger is roomy and efficient, with three main compartments. The back compartment has one large pocket that is designed to carry large electronics such as laptops, tablets, and notebooks in a secure snap closure, with an additional two smaller pockets for holding daily use gadgets. The spacious middle compartment can hold bulky daily carry items and has an eyeglass holder and pen holder on the sides. The front compartment has one large pocket that can hold documents, magazines, folders and another slightly smaller pocket to hold other items.
