The SmartRack 12U Standard-Depth 4-Post Open Frame Rack provides an economical rack-mount solution for small offices, retail locations and other secure IT locations with limited floor space where you need equipment to be organized and easy to access. Its ideal for mounting network switches, routers, patch panels, audiovideo components and other EIA-standard 19-inch rack equipment up to 36 inches deep.

Constructed from heavy-duty steel with a durable black powder-coated finish, the SR12UBEXPNDKD has a maximum load capacity of 1, 000 pounds. Stashed away under a counter, on a workbench or in a corner, this rack saves precious space and allows you fast, easy access at your immediate workspace for organizing, installing and servicing equipment and cabling. The open design allows unobstructed airflow to help keep components cool and performing at their peak.

The self-squaring SR12UBEXPNDKD assembles using the included hardware. Built-in casters allow you to roll the rack into place. The vertical mounting rails have square, numbered holes and optional cable management hooks for securing equipment to the steel frame. Only user-supplied standard hand tools are required for setup. Toolless button holes accept 0U vertical installation of PDUs and cable managers.

An expansion model is useful when baying together multiple enclosures. Its integrated baying tabs make it easy to combine multiple enclosures in rows for data center applications.

The SR45UBEXPNDNR3 houses 3000 lb of standard 19-inch rack equipment in 45U. It is an expansion model that comes without sides, doors or roof. The front and rear pairs of vertical rails have square mounting holes that are adjustable in quarter-inch increments from 4 to 37 inches. Adjustment is quick and an easy-view depth index ensures consistent rail placement without requiring time-consuming measurements. Each rack space within the enclosure is numbered for ready reference and supports tool-less button-mount 0U installation of up to four compatible PDUs and cable managers.

All components of the SR45UBEXPNDNR3 are grounded to the enclosure frame. Front and rear threaded grounding points are provided for connection to the facility earth ground.

To simplify deployment, the SR45UBEXPNDNR3 comes with heavy duty 3" preinstalled casters that enable it to be easily maneuvered into the desired location, where it can be secured by adjusting the preinstalled levelers. Note: the casters are intended for minor position adjustments and are not designed for moving the enclosure over long distances.

The SR45UBEXPNDNR3 comes with a 5-year product warranty. As part of the SmartRack family, the SR45UBEXPNDNR3 is compatible with Tripp Lites extensive range of rackmount accessories, enabling you to customize your solution to meet any requirement.
