UC Components’ washers are the perfect complement to our vented screws. Our washers are made from the same high quality materials and available with the same specialty finishes that help our fasteners improve vacuum system performance. UC Components’ washers are available in both inch and metric washer sizes. We manufacture vented flat washers to ensure that High Vacuum or Ultra High Vacuum systems have adequate ventilation under fastener heads in tapped holes for faster, more efficient pump-down of the system. Standard washer assembly may actually seal air underneath the screw head around the should andor threads of he screw. UC also supplies flat washers and split lock washers, as well as numerous other types and variations, such as internal and external tooth washers. All varieties are available in both Inch and metric washer sizes with any of UC Components’ standard finishes.

UC Components manufactures vented shoulder screws for High Vacuum, Ultra High Vacuum, and other clean-critical applications. These vented fasteners promote faster, more efficient pump-down of vacuum systems by providing a path through which trapped volumes of air can be evacuated from the vacuum chamber. Our Inch-measure screws are manufactured to meet ASME standards.12-point bolts (flange bolts) are also available from UC Components. While our standard 12-point screws are available in inch sizes, metric sizes are also available in a variety of diameters and lengths. UC Components offers Inch-measure hex nuts in a range of sizes as ideal accompaniments to our Inch vented and standard screws. Our standard Inch nuts are made from 300 Series stainless steel, with select other materials available upon request. All are manufactured to ASME B18.2.2 standards. All our nuts are precision cleaned and packaged in a certified Class 100 cleanroom, and are suitable for immediate installation in High Vacuum and Ultra High Vacuum systems.

UC Components offers metric hex nuts in all sizes to complement the performance of our metric vented screws. Our standard metric nuts are made from A2 stainless steel; A4 (316) stainless steel and other materials are also available upon request. All metric nuts are manufactured to meet DIN 934ISO 4032 standards. All our hex nuts are precision cleaned and packaged in a certified Class 100 cleanroom, making them suitable for immediate installation in High Vacuum and Ultra High Vacuum systems.

UC Components provides Inch-measure vented, flat, and split lock washers to complement our vented and non-vented screws. Our vented flat washers promote faster, more complete pump-down of HV and UHV systems by providing a direct pathway for the evacuation of trapped volumes of air beneath fastener heads. All our washers are made 300 series stainless steel, and are available with the same vacuum-appropriate finishes as our RediVac™ fasteners. UC Components’ Inch vented and flat washers are manufactured to meet NAS 620 and AN960 standards. Lock washers are manufactured to MS-35338 standards.
