Universal Plastics manufactures plastic cores for various industries, including fishing, paper, tape, yarn, medical and fabric. Our plastic cores provide reinforcement for larger spools and are clean, dust-free, and dimensionally stable.

Universal Plastics manufactures plastic profile extrusion shapes in almost every configuration possible, from simple U-shaped channels to complex hollow profiles. Plastic strips are also a specialty at Universal Plastics. Plastic extrusion profiles are our area of expertise.

Universal Plastics has many plastic resin colors in stock, just a few are pictured. If your plastic extrusion project requires a special color, we have a team of experts that can match colors to meet your needs. We can add U.V. stabilizers to protect plastic from harsh U.V. rays, add anti-static additives, anti-microbial agents and even fragrances.

Flexible and rigid tube extrusion manufacturing is our specialty! Based in Colorado, Universal Plastics has provided extruded plastic tubing in various sizes (including metric), and materials for more than 30 years. We extrude a wide range of materials. Because of our ample manufacturing facility, we have many colors and materials in stock for immediate use and shorter lead times.

Universal Plastics can provide plastic profile extrusion dies providing quick turn around and capabilities to make rapid adjustments during set up and first article approval. Our downstream capabilities include water or air cooling, multiple cutting technologies and spooling of plastic extruded rod to large or small reels. We provide plastics extruded rod in most commodity and engineering resins including PP, PE, PC, PVC, and Nylons.

Co-extruded plastic profiles combine and bond two or more different plastic materials into a one-piece product. Coextruded plastic technology uses two or more extruders and one profile die. The combined materials can be rigid and flexible, different colors, and different additive mixes. The co-extruded plastics can either be joined together or layered, but they must be compatible for strong bonding.

Universal Plastics has a full range of high quality tubing in different sizes and materials available in stock. Tubing is priced per foot or by the roll.
