Adjustable length rubber tie downs offer the flexibility of having one strap fulfilling multiple size needs. The workable strap length can be adjusted simply by changing the S-hook location utilizing the slots located along the length of the strap. These tie downs come in two nominal lengths 24 and 34, but can be configured to effectively operate any size from a 4 up to 34.

UP&R molds its products out of various polymers including SBR, EPDM, Neoprene, Nitrile, Silicone, Viton, Polyisoprene, and others.

UP&R extrudes a variety of polymers and produces a wide array of parts that are used in a number of different industries. Our extrusions meet ASTM, SAE, and Mil specs, depending the particular application and part. We manufacture parts out of common polymers EPDM, Polyisoprene, SBR, Neoprene, and Nitrile. We also manufacture extrusions from Silicone and other high temperature materials.

UP&R, with its in-house tool shop, can develop tooling to produce any extrusion that can fit our equipment and capabilities. Details of those capabilities are listed below. We can provide finished parts cut to length or provide reels of extruded stock, depending on the customers request.

UP&R produces sponge extrusions from various polymers. These are used as insulation, gaskets, seals, and other applications.

UP&R produces custom plastic extrusions from a variety of materials such as high density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP), and other plastics. Manufactured to various Mil-spec and ASTM standards, our extrusions are use in the architectural, construction, transportation, automotive, electrical, and general industrial markets.

A range of extrusion profiles, tubing, rods, and other custom shapes are extruded regularly. UP&R can produce extrusions with tight tolerances of 0.008, depending on part sizes. Plastic extrusions are manufactured up to 4 in width and in lengths of 30 feet or longer. Flexible shapes are often coiled onto reels and shipped to customers as reel stock.

UP&R also co-extrudes materials of different durometers, and co-extrudes different materials into the same part. Co-extrusions are used extensively in architectural and construction applications

UP&R produces Concrete Pipe gaskets and Manhole gaskets from a variety of polymers. The majority of gaskets are produced using polyisoprene, but some are produced from neoprene, nitrile, or EPDM, depending on the soil conditions at the job site and other specific job requirements.

All UP&R Concrete Pipe and Manhole gaskets meet ASTM C-443 and or ASTM C-361, depending on the particular pipe specification.

UP&R develops sealing solutions based on customers joint details. UP&Rs in house die manufacturing quickly turns joint details into viable, sealing gaskets. From customers joint details to extrusion die development, to splice mold manufacture, and finally to finished spliced gaskets, all aspects of the process are contained within UP&R to insure proper process control and maintain strict quality control.

UP&R is the developer and sole manufacturer of the renown GOLDLINE strap. GOLDLINE is an officially trademarked name of UP&R. GOLDLINE straps are made in the USA in our Ohio manufacturing facility. GOLDLINE tarp straps have been a standard for the trucking industry for many years dating back to the early 1970s. Very few over the road fleets are without the GOLDLINE tarp strap as part of their need to have items. GOLDLINE continues to be the number one brand of tarp strap as recognized among truckers and tarp strap users in the USA.

GOLDLINE straps provide strength, durability, and resistance to weathering. This product durability is developed by both the compound used, and the manufacturing process performed to make GOLDLINE straps.

UP&R manufacturers and offers a selection of other straps that will fit into less stringent applications and consequently generate lower price points. One of these is our SILVERLINE strap.

UP&R produces Plastic Pipe gaskets, and cast iron coupling gaskets from a variety of polymers. The majority of gaskets are produced using polyisoprene and EPDM, but some are produced from neoprene, nitrile, or silicone, depending on the soil conditions at the job site and other specific job requirements.

UP&Rs gaskets for the corrugated plastic pipe market meet ASTM F-477 standards. Based on customers joint details, UP&R develops and manufactures these gaskets to seal the joints.
