UVA is in the 315 - 420nm wavelength range. This includes Photopolymer (365 - 400nm) and Diazo (400 - 420nm). We carry a wide range of UVA lamps used in curing of inks and lamanants, including medium pressure, metal halide and specialized flourescents. Compact UVC lamps are widely used in HVAC to kill mold spores and bacteria in heating and AC vents, easing symptoms of asthma and allergies. Compact UVA and UVB lamps have various applications in gemology, nail curing, insect trapping, and dermatology.

Deuterium lamps create an arc between the anode and tungston filament that excites molecular deuterium. Light is emmitted as it transitions back to it's initial state. The intense continuum from the vacuum ultraviolet to 500 nm, and the low visible and infrared output, ensure superior signal to noise for many UV measurements.
