TS-1X Wireless Data Collector

The TS-1X unit is an advanced wireless monitoring system supporting a wide variety of analog inputs. It is capable of sampling 7 channels of analog data at rates up to 160Khz, and 6 channels of DC data. A seamless connection for process inputs is provided for the TS-1X Thermal Amp, where external sensors, such as cold junction thermocouples or RTDs are amplified and conditioned.

The vibration channels provide a standard 20V4ma current feed for biasing accelerometers. This bias voltage can be disabled to allow direct AC inputs from other devices such as proximity probes.

The wireless unit communicates back to the base station via long range 900Mhz radio. An optional build option allows WLAN communication (802.11G) for higher speed shorter range applications.

The TS-1X unit includes a high performance digital signal processor (DSP) that allows advanced analysis programs within the unit (as custom configurations). This includes data compression, encryption, and error correction for the wireless link, and the ability to do advance frequency domain analysis on the unit, as well as setting alarms and making other real time decisions without having to contact the base station.

On board memory of 2 megabytes allows samples times of up 3 hours at low sample rates, and 1 minute at the maximum rate.

Real time data stream is available over WLAN, with a maximum sample rate that depends on the network performance of the connected WLAN access point.

The TS-1X unit provides input buffering and filtering on the AC channels, including programmable low and high pass filters, and an analog integrator. Low frequency signals near DC can be measured with a direct coupled input setting.

TS28X

The TS28X unit is an advanced wireless monitoring switch box system that aggregates 56 channels of vibration and process data. It includes 28 channels of AC (vibration), 2 Tachometer inputs, and 24 DC or process inputs. 18 process inputs are prewired for 4-20ma direct connect sensors.

For ACvibration channels, the TS28X is capable of sampling 7 channels of analog data at rates up to 20Khz simultaneously. 7 groups of 7 AC inputs are sampled in turn, providing a total aggregation of 28 AC channels.

For DCprocess channels, 7 group of 6 DC inputs are sampled in turn, providing a total aggregation of 42 DC channels.

Two Tachometer inputs can be assigned to the ACvibration channels to capture machine speed.

Range-X Wireless Extender

Ethernet-USB Bridge

The ETHERNET-USB Bridge is used to provide access to TS-1X units via an Ethernet or USB connection. The Bridge uses 900Mhz radio signals to communicate with TS-1X units. An Ethernet connection (10100) provides an IP Interface to the TS-1X server (running on a windows PC). The Bridge can also be directly connected via USB to a windows PC running the TS-1X server.

Data Transfer Box

The Uptime Solutions TS-1X-Data Transfer unit provides an easy way to provide analog data to a 3rd party DCS (Distributed Control System). The Data Transfer unit provides 4-20ma outputs for plant project control systems. The outputs are derived from data collected by the TS-1X wireless data collector, and typically come from physical equipment such as switches, pumps, sensors and valves. The TS-1X Data Transfer unit provides 32 channels of 4-20ma data outputs.

TS-1X THERMO-RTD AMP

The THERMO-RTD AMP provides six channels of signal conditioning and amplification for DC sensors. The THERMO-RTD AMP directly connects to a TS-1X wireless monitoring system, and can also be used as a stand alone unit. The buffered amplifier output can be read by a standard volt meter or applied to a system that accepts DC inputs.

The Amplifier also provides a direct snap in connection for 4-20ma input sensors, and for DC inputs of arbitrary inputs voltages (requires a blocking resistor).

THE THERMO-RTD AMP HAS THE FOLLOWING FEATURES:

Asset Monitoring Software

The TS-1X PATHFINDER Software Suite is designed for the Windows Operating Systems, XP, Win7, and Win8. The software suite consists of multiple programs to provide a flexible and scalable solution to machinery monitoring and analysis.

PATHFINDER ONLINE MONITOR

PATHFINDER Online Monitor provides all live time data collection, control and display functions at each local unit. The overall data gauges show the values being recorded for each sensor input. If a spectral band value is in alarm, the arrow color changes to yellow or to red if the value is in a fault condition. Online Monitor provides single or multiple displays of waveforms, spectra, trends and orbits.

DATABASE EDITOR

The Database Editor program is used to configure and edit the database used by the monitoring unit(s) for a given application. This program allows the user to create the database tree that will be used by the system and then set the important database parameters for each level in the database tree. Typically PATHFINDER personnel will assist the end user in setting up the first database as part of the system commissioning process.

PATHFINDER

The PathFinder program is used to get historical data from the database, for machinery diagnostics and analysis. PathFinder has many tools and features developed specifically for the machinery analyst, by programmers who have a background in vibration and machinery diagnostics. PathFinder is compatible with Microsoft Office. Data may be viewed graphically or as raw data in any Office program. Simply copy and paste into Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.

Storm-X Wireless Monitoring Sensor

The StormX unit is an advanced wireless monitoring system that integrates a piezo-ceramic Triax accelerometer into a small form factor battery powered housing, as well as a high temperature senor. It is capable of simultaneous sampling 4 channels of external analog data and 3 channels of internal XYZ data at rates up to 20kHz, and 6 channels of external DC data.

The unit runs stand alone with batteries or an external DC power supply, and switches automatically between low power battery modes and mains operational modes. The battery pack is field replaceable. The expansion port also allows larger external batteries, rechargeable batteries, DC power supplies, or power harvestingsolar solutions to augment or replace the internal battery. The wireless unit communicates with the base station via long range 900Mhz radio.
